I worked at a convenient store one time. A lady came in shaking and just seemed different. She was paying for gas and very lightly whispered "help please". So I took her to the back room and asked her what was going on. Come to find out the guy she was with was beating her and wouldn't let her go home to her family. I called the cops and the guy flipped out cause he couldn't find her and was pissed. Thankfully the cops weren't to far away and they took care of the situation. She came back to the store a few months after that and you could see a major change in her. She was so happy and couldn't stop thanking me for saving her.

They stopped her because she was very agitated. They took her aside for a private screening because they thought she might have been forced to carry explosives or contraband. I remembered when i was 19, i worked at a restaurant and i just got out of a very serious domestic abuse relationship and as an employee i had to park my car in the back and only my boss knew about my situation. One friday night, i was getting off late and i was walking to my car and my ex pulled up in his car and he grabbed my by my hair and he shook me like a rag doll and started to choke me and hurt me more. He tried to drag me into his car but i put up a big fight. In the midst of fighting him my coworkers younger brother heard me screaming from inside and he came outaide to see what was happening and thats what he came out and seen. He ended up calling the others outside and he grabbed him and fought him off of me. Police were called and i received medical help and support from my coworkers and they all learned about my relationship with him. My coworkers younger brother is in the military. Hes sucha. Sweet guy and i thank him everyday for saving me.

I was in a store once and a young girl was holding hands with an older guy and he wouldn't let her alone. The young girl looked like she was very distressed.
I made up a story and asked the young girl if she was related to a person I knew. She didn't look at me and the guy said she wasn't.
It just didn't feel right so I went up to a salesperson and told them I needed to talk to the manager.
I told the manager what was going on and she went over to the guy and said she saw him stealing something and the police would be called.
The guy went ballistic, started yelling and cursing and tried to run out of the store dragging the girl with him.
I grabbed the guy and another guy in the store helped me subdue him and kept him from leaving the store with the girl.
The young girl started crying and we pulled her free from the guy.
She was shaking uncontrollably and passed out.
The cops arrived and took the guy into custody and the girl was questioned by a female police officer.
It turned out the girl had been kidnapped in South Carolina and the guy was on his way to the west coast with the girl.
The young girl couldn't stop thanking the store manager and the other guy and myself for helping her.
    Moral of this story:
Keep alert of your surroundings folks.
Child kidnapping and sex trafficking are real and more widespread than people think.
God Bless this young girl and protect her and others from these predators.
    Amen

I remember working in a fast food place and a girl with her father came in. When I served her I noticed a black circle on the palm of her hand. Something seemed real off about her and him. I called my mom and she told me that circle was a call for help so I called the police. Turns out he kidnapped her from her mom as he was not allowed to see her. The girl said she read it in a book about the black circle and hoped someone would know what it meant as he threatened her if she tried to run or call for help. She was so thankful and still stays in touch with us to this day. Her father was in prison for fifteen years where he died of a massive heart attack a week before his parole. Sometimes justice does work out.

I wanted to help her so I told her her food was taking longer than expected and I would need her to come inside to grab it. Surprisingly her boyfriend didn’t care about her going in by herself. Some years ago I encountered a young woman that was being held by a man she met working at a club, he would make his young son stay w her so she couldn't get away the boy followed her to the bus stop she tried to get help from others and they told her to get away. She came to me and told me what was happening and begged me to act like a family friend she just came upon til her rescue ride came. I asked her to give me her mom's info so I could call her and let her know she made it to her ride. This man seriously was trying to keep her I told that lil boy to go home. She would be right there I would watch her. A blue car came and that baby ran for her life. The boy and his daddy came running but they were too late and because there were so many out there he got scared and left. I called her mother as soon as I got to work. The girl called the next day. The man was her family lawyer and flew her back to New York. She was safe thank God. That was in 1999. In Louisville KY. Please keep your young people close and safe. This stuff happens everyday.

What she would do is immediately give the girl some sense of we got this and then immediately notify the captain and the captain will notify the airport control where ever they are landing and when they land, he will announce to please be patient we’re waiting to be told to Park at whatever door and while he is saying all that he is already parked and the police would immediately board that plane. If your ever in need of getting out of a bad situation, ask your bartender or even server for an Angel shot. They will immediately take action and do what they can to help you. If for some reason they don't know what your talking about, politely ask them to look up the ingredients, tell em its your favorite. I was pregnant with my first baby in 1989. I was in a shopping mall by myself and about 8 months along. I was riding the escalator and in front of me going up was a man in a suit with a baby stroller. He was alone. We got to the floor above and he stopped and adjusted his glasses, looked around, and I saw CRAZY eyes and I glanced into the stroller and there was a DOLL in it! I got chills, found a security guard nearby miraculously, told him that creepy guy over there has a doll in that carriage and I think he’s gonna switch it out for a REAL baby while a new mom isn’t paying attention! The security guard took me seriously and went over to the pedo and I high-tailed it outta that mall ! I just had a horrible gut feeling about that guy and I never forgot it. I can still see his gray jacket and crazy eyes and that doll after 33+ years. If something doesn’t look or feel right, trust your gut. I personally think this is a really good video that makes it clear to people that this is happening I have seen this up close for example there was a little girl who looked very sad but then you think it probably won't be anything bad but when she passed a sign came she wrote help while pretending to trip so that the man who held her the whole time couldn't see it and then I called the police together with my father and pretended to ask the man something so that we would have time could stretch and eventually the police came and they arrested the man and the girl turned out to be missing but she is now back with her family but this doesn't happen often usually people just let it pass but this shouldn't happen again

More then once I've had to call the police to help a neighbor in apartments I've lived in over the years being abused. Some thank me and some would get made at me. I now have a better understanding of why cause at least back then police rarely actually did much to the abuser and even if they went to jail it was only for a day or two and were worse when they got back. One time though there was this lady at a gas station asking for help. I told the attendant and he and I helped her disappear into the bathroom. The attendant kept the man's attention while I guided her to the bathroom. I stood in front of the door blocking it telling him I was waiting for a friend to come out when he tried to get past me once the attendant went to go to the backroom to call the police. Before that I had already called the police because of what the guy was doing to her outside before they went in. So the police arrived pretty quickly...plus the station wasn't that far away either. The man ran away while the lady police chased him down. I kinda thought that was some justice that he was tackled to the ground by a lady cop

I was thinking of telling my daughter to take her 1 year old son for a walk outside. Even just around the block. Then I started to think that if someone was going to kidnap the baby she would have to fight real hard against a grown ass man. She's only 5'1 and she would give all her strength to try and save her baby
Then I thought that. That's a bad idea with good intentions because she could easily get overcome by him trying to steal her child. So now I tell her to wait until her strong ass and kind boyfriend gets home from work for safety reasons. The perpetrator will not attempt a kidnapping when there are 2 able body adults there to fight like hell to protect their child. Great job flight attendant DEMANDING THAT THE MAN LET GO OF HER AND HER STRENGTH AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE PLANE AND SHE'S GOT THE BALLS TO DEMAND THAT MAN TO LET GO OF HER. God bless all. You really have to be on your toes watching every little thing because it may be a really big deal. Don't know if this is acting or not but it is sooo important to watch out for yourself and your neighbors 😢 it takes a village remember to watch out for others as well as yourself ❤

I was at Walmart one night in May Landing NJ. My ex husband was very abusive. I ran away from him and Walmart, running down the street, hiding in the trees and behind buildings until I got to a house that always had a huge beautiful Christmas tree. Thankfully, they let me use their phone to get a ride. I went back a few weeks later with a bunch of Easter directions. (They decorated every holiday) was super grateful they saved me from another beating!

On a crowded flight why can't she stand up and state that she's being held against her will? Or create any disturbance. A much more helpful video would be to recognize the signs of someone who is afraid for whatever reason to try to notify anyone.

Without the training would the flight attendant have yelled at her for writing on the cup or something. Maybe she would have said that she already helped by putting creamer in your coffee.
Edit: removal immediately from seat instead of walking of and telling a coworker or something is important

Seen a story where, at a bar, they had posters in the women's bathroom where if they ordered certain named drink than the bartender would know if they needed assistant or was in distress. Very helpful in this day in time! People are scarily sneaky and my friend dealt with something during a girl's night out. Didn't find out till years later and I still feel the guilt.

Make a plan for your safety. A stupid really short guy tried to force his ugly self in to my life at a free food pantry. I reported him and he backed away from me. I begged him to get away from me, he came to my table and sat all close and got personal. Talking about his sex life. I never saw him in my life. He was really stupid. Thank God I was able to go in the building as a volunteer.
