Great to see you back! Great video!
Thanks for watching! It's good to get back into it 👍
Pretty good haul for $192. I have so many snow peas and lettuce growing that I'm giving them away by the bucketful. We are going away in our van for 6 months, leaving March next year, and I will miss the vegie garden alot.
If you're looking for a meat alternative for mince the Birds Eye frozen plant based mince is really good. It's a bit exxy at $6.50 for 300grm but it swells up alot and by the time I add in all the veg and passata I get 3 meals out of one packet for two adults. I think it's only available at Coles though.
I recently tried the oat yoghurt, not a fan but love the new Vitasoy greek yoghurt.
The only difference between lite coconut milk and full fat is the amount of water in the can, same price, less coconut.
Btw your van is lovely, hope you have many safe and happy travels.
Thanks for the tip about the Birds Eye PB mince, I haven't tried that one yet. The thing I probably miss the most (living full time on the road) is having a veggie garden. Home grown tastes so much nicer! Excited for you to be hitting the road next year too, hopefully we'll see you out there somewhere!
Wow, you have enough food for a month in your caravan! There's a challenge!
Lol, I wish! This will probably see us through about 2 weeks. I do like to keep a small stockpile on hand, partly so I can take advantage of sales, but also so we always have food on hand - just incase (if we breakdown or get stuck somewhere we've got food to get us through).
Awesome haul thanks for sharing Nikki. Safe travels. 💯👍❤️
Thanks Beverley! xx
Yes the lettuce! When I walked into my woolies and saw it under 3 bucks just had to pick one up for the family!
I had to check the price twice!! So good to have iceberg back in the fridge!
Yay! Hi Nikki 😁
👋 Hi Alice!
Have always called it a rock melon. I must try those roasted peanuts they look good.
safe travels.
Thanks Carmel! Those peanuts are dangerously addictive! Very yum 😋
Rockmelon
👍 Thanks Nikki!
Omg I have been waiting for forever for this!!! It's definitely rockmelon 😜 and they have been so tasty this winter
Thanks Sonja! I love rockmelons 😋 and this year they have been delicious!
@@NikkiBeal they certainly have. I used to love honey dew melon but haven't had it for years after a few hard, tasteless ones.
Hi Nikki, sounds like you’re having an awesome time travelling. Good to hear. I love the OC Naturals hair shampoo n conditioner and it’s often half price and Australian made too. Have you tried the English breakfast muffins from Aldi? Think they are around $1.90 so $1 cheaper than the Tip Top brand when half price at coles n Woolies. Only asking as I always buy the Aldi ones and same with crumpets but someone mentioned the proper English muffins n crumpets tasted nicer than the Aldi ones. I noticed you got the tip top brand. Great haul and happy n safe travels 🥰
Thanks Tracey! Honestly, if there is (was) an Aldi nearby then I would have bought the Aldi ones! Lol. (I personally don't notice any difference - especially once they're toasted).
I love that brand of shampoo and conditioner and pick them up when half price also
It's definitely my favourite. Every now & then I try something different, but I always come back 😍
We call the melon a cantaloupe. Safe travels.
👍 thanks Leanne!
Good idea with the wraps and salada instead of bread.
Thanks Sonja!
Can you also post some of your recipes please
Hoping to get some more cooking videos up soon!
@@NikkiBeal cannot wait!!!
