@ Brock isn't under contract with the UFC either, but I play as him in UFC 4 all the time. Not being under contract doesn't mean that someone can't appear in a video game. It's only when someone's under contract with another company that would copyright the likeness, which was why Brock couldn't of been in UFC 3.

It's sad to see all of those fan favorites being pushed out the door. WWE could have made the show "Main Event" a place for those stars I mean it would have helped that show out a lot and also added the 205 Live crew too... I will miss all of them including Brodie Lee I loved him as Harper and how he made sure everyone he wrestled looked awesome while being safe in the ring...
I still think there’s a chance Kurt Angle could be in the game he might not have a Legends deal at the moment but has been on WWE programming like Steve Austin’s wwe network show they might be able to work something out.
I still think there’s a chance as long as he doesn’t sign with anyone else, WWE could still re-sign him before the release of the game while the chances are slim I’m trying to be optimistic.

The wrestlemania 36 unholy trinity biker deadman combined version better be in the game with the Metallica theme and two reanimated new biker entrances to go with it.
I think Kurt & Jake have a possibility. Kurt was at the Rumble so there’s that. And Jake just had an action figure come out a month or so ago so I think he’s still under some kind of deal. It may not be for games though.
Honestly they should name it 2k21, considering it's the sequel to 2k20 and the fact that the roster and events of the game will come from events in 2021. (I've had this problem since the svr days with the titles)
Pretty much every sports game gets called the year after its released if it's an annually released game (FIFA, NBA 2k, PES, Madden, PGA tour 2k, NHL etc.)

Out of everyone who is going to be cut from 2K22 Matt Hardy is the one that upsets me the most I have wanted him in the games for years having him back in the series for 18 19 & 20 was great he was one of my most used wrestler. Really gonna miss having Angle Rusev and The Good Brothers in the game as well as pushed them hard in universe. I Know we have great content creators in the community but having someone in the game and getting a caw of them just feels weird to me

Yea, I am actually not that sad about these characters being removed because of CC. I actually saw a really good rock, Brodie Lee, and kurt angle CAW the other day on 2k19, so I have high hopes.
Only thing I say then what's the point putting them all this good talents on the main roster then wwe say we don't know what to do with them use common sense and let them stay in nxt at least they know what to do but more better for them to be in another company doing 5x better

Kurt would probably in if they reach a deal, I think 2K22 is going to have a ton of legends and nxt stars which would be a good thing. Hopefully they add more nxt superstars including NXT UK roster as well. them having a decent chunk of legends would be to grab the old school fans. They need sales from all demographics, so they need a very good roster.
I still playing WWE 2k18 on Xbox one and yesterday on Xbox 360 I play 2k17 game still got 2k14 2k15 2k16 but haven't try out 2k19 yet but wwe career mode still sucks than ever just garbage rather get it replaced by my WWEstory season mode along with bring back road to Wrestlemania.
It's going to feel so awkward to having Jeff Hardy in a WWE game by himself considering how much more used I am to seeing either both Hardys in a WWE game or just Matt really growing up, now it's the exact opposite, also I think it's safe to say we can add Big Show to that list now

I wish there is a big showcase this year. I didn’t buy 2k20 but 2k19’s showcase seemed short unlike 2k15 which was huge with 2 separate showcases. Hope there is a Seth Rollins or Roman reigns showcase ie. Seth Rollins post shield heel run and up to WM33. Roman reigns the same up to WM35 where he returned from leukaemia. Just a suggestion but like if you think it’s a good idea!

Depends if he goes somewhere else or signs his likeness to another company. The Wrestling Code has been signing a lot of legends.
He's contract was a legends deal, his later appearances (Fight Pit referee and Network) were as a free agent. So he won't be in the game.

The only thing that can save 2k22 if this legends are not in the game, making a lot of retro version of current superstars , like 4 versions of randy orton (2004,2007,2009,current), 3 versions of edge (young edge, rated r, current) , 7 versions of undertaker (early taker,purple taker, masked taker, ministry taker,american badass, 2007 undertaker and wrestlemania 30 taker), kane 4 versions (masked debut kane, alternative masked kane, without mask, than the other kane with different mask) , 3 versions of brock (debut brock lesnar, 2012 brock lesnar, current brock), 3 version of rey mysterio (debut version, red attire, white attire), 3 version of jeff hardy ( vs taker attire, black and white paint 2008, current), 4 versions of batista (debut batista, 2005 batista, 2010 batista,2014 batista), cena (thuganomics,current), and more
Oh absolutely they should have alternate superstar attires,I’d love to see them also bring some old themes of superstars to like,word life,burn in my light,slow chemical,los Guerreros theme,can you feel the heat? And cracking/gangsta lean and some others as well

Yea, I am actually not that sad about these characters being removed because of CC. I actually saw a really good rock, Brodie Lee, and kurt angle CAW the other day on 2k19, so I have high hopes.

Only thing I say then what's the point putting them all this good talents on the main roster then wwe say we don't know what to do with them use common sense and let them stay in nxt at least they know what to do but more better for them to be in another company doing 5x better

Legit for me it's going to feel awkward playing a WWE game with just Jeff in it without Matt considering how much more used I am to seeing either both or just Matt in a game growing up

@@jordanmccluskey891 It really is going to look much smaller, yeah we'll have new faces like Karrion Kross but even so a couple of new people won't be enough to fix the amount of space lost on this year's game, 2K20 may not have been that good but at least it had more of a stacked roster compared to what the 2K22 can potentially have

Kurt would probably in if they reach a deal, I think 2K22 is going to have a ton of legends and nxt stars which would be a good thing. Hopefully they add more nxt superstars including NXT UK roster as well. them having a decent chunk of legends would be to grab the old school fans. They need sales from all demographics, so they need a very good roster.

While I want to believe that, I can imagine likeness rights may only lay with one company. I'd expect AEW to have him in their game.
That's alot to miss out maybe they will lean more on legends we haven't seen in sometime as well as new ones or lean on the new talent.
I still playing WWE 2k18 on Xbox one and yesterday on Xbox 360 I play 2k17 game still got 2k14 2k15 2k16 but haven't try out 2k19 yet but wwe career mode still sucks than ever just garbage rather get it replaced by my WWEstory season mode along with bring back road to Wrestlemania.

I wish there is a big showcase this year. I didn’t buy 2k20 but 2k19’s showcase seemed short unlike 2k15 which was huge with 2 separate showcases. Hope there is a Seth Rollins or Roman reigns showcase ie. Seth Rollins post shield heel run and up to WM33. Roman reigns the same up to WM35 where he returned from leukaemia. Just a suggestion but like if you think it’s a good idea!
