What else can I say that hasn't already been said? You've shared the secrets to the perfect sticks! Great sauce, seasoned to order, egg science & the perfect egg wash, oil bubbles and breading, superior crunch, double dip and fry! There it is! I'll be in the kitchen cooking mozz sticks! Thank you, Fabio!!
Mozzarella Sticks This heavenly, melty, crunchy dish comes to your red-checkered tablecloth straight from USA Little Italy. Put plainly, if you’re really hankering for mozzarella sticks when you’re in the actual country of Italy, there is one place you’ll find them-McDonald’s. Teresa Callen, the Italian-born cookbook author and cooking teacher, when asked about it. "It's not an Italian dish. It's really another Italian-American invention. I have never seen it in Italy, and I suspect that it came from Long Island."
You may add some salt/pepper in the eggs or flour. Thank you anyway, I had no idea you can fry mozzarella. I did this but with caciocavallo or other similar old cheese.
I thought that the boiling point of water was 212 fahrenheit while frying temperature tends to be at 350 for most items, so there seems to be a fair amount of distance between knowing the oil is above 212 than knowing it's close to the right temp for frying.
Love the kitchen, love the recipe and you remind me of my son in law lol Double coating will help seal in the cheese better and that's what people complain about when they do make them. This is the solution. Thank you Fabio :o)
Interesting, most recipes call for you to freeze the breaded cheese before you fry. You didn't and yours didn't ooze out everywhere. I wonder if it really makes a difference
I love this guy.
Fabio Kitchen should have 1 million subscribers!

Absolutely...but there's a silver lining: don't you feel like you're getting secret training from a master?
You mentioned your sauce but, I couldn’t find that episode.
Love mozzarella sticks! Hope you and your family has a Happy Thanksgiving.
Can we petition to make it a norm that Fabio implores Nick to try the food at the end like this? That cracked me up!
Perfectly fried but give it a minute to cool off, that cheese it like lava when it's fresh out of the oil. Delicious
