Certain parts do feel like Stillworld, which I absolutely dig. But most importantly, they continued carrying the sound of Greyview only with crystal clear production. It warms my heart being their fan and seeing them live recently. But gosh, they deserve a headliner tour and all top spots at the end of 2023. They literally created a perfection with so much care and passion. As they described this album themselves, it's their heaviest and softest work at the same time. And that's something that is so damn accurate 🥲♥️

Absence persistent gets better every time i hear it. Its becoming my favorite. Love False Meridian, Emberglow, Purity Weeps, Void Surfacing…honestly the whole god damn album is perfect.
i can't pick favorites yet, every time i hear each song they get even better, labyrinthine and emberglow especially hit me harder with repeated listens, and absence persistent has changed the most for me, i wasn't sure about it at first (i don't even know why) but it's a great opener
the driving riff at the beginning of emberglow definitely sounds like erra, but the vocals and drums sound so much like thornhill, i dont know how i didn't notice it the first time i heard it

Ive listened to it like 15 times already. Including reactions. It came only 2 days ago lmao. Others bands got NOTHING on IA now. Easily my AOTY. Love that part in Emeberglow near the end when you can only hear Marcus singing. Its literally like 2 sec long, but always gives me goosebumps. His voice is just something else. This is an incredible album. One of my favorite metalcore albums sense color decay and before that was lost in the waves. I love great metalcore but these guys are putting a stamp in the game

oh shit 💀 I think they did that because it's kind of a concept album, there are lyrics that are referenced across the whole album and their previous album Greyview didn't have that at all so it was definitely on purpose, I get it tho, at least its used in different ways every time it's repeated

Agreed about False Meridian giving ERRA vibes at the start, gives massive Scorpion Hymn vibes and im loving it.
What's weird is that the song that reminds me most of ERRA is emberglow. It might just be that it's written in a major scale.
