You can use a dc motor to rotate the blades or use a fan to rotate the blades. THe wind turbines in this video is self rotating with a fan in front. Refer below video for making a wind turbine with a dc motor.

You need an instant glue to finish models faster. You can use any instant glues like fevi quik etc. Be careful with your hnd while using instant glues.
