Use a dc motor if you want to move it continously. I'm not using a motor. I'm using a fan to rotate it.

You can use a dc motor to rotate the blades or use a fan to rotate the blades. THe wind turbines in this video is self rotating with a fan in front. Refer below video for making a wind turbine with a dc motor.

You should use a dc gear motor (slow rpm motor). Normal dc motors with high rpm will spin very fast. Model will not look like a wind turbine.
