    As an O-State fan I'm not going get all defensive about Bowman's ranking, But as the video says, don't be surprised when you see him play8ing in the conference championship.

    Cam rising needs to be #1. He's an apex when he's on the field. No one in the NCAA is tougher than him. He's representing not only the university of Utah, but the UTE native American tribe, wile also representing many other native nations across the country as well! Couldn't ask for a better representative for the school/native nation in college football!

    So, Oklahoma St went to the Big 12 championship game last year with Bowman and they return 22 starters from that team, but Bowman “has to play better” for the Cowboys to “have a chance” to make it back this year, with no Texas and no Oklahoma? Did I get that right? Does Ollie Gordon need to play better for the Cowboys to have a chance? You smirk while commenting this is Bowman’s 7th year (same as Cam Rising) so chit happens. Bowman won the starting QB spot this year over two young stud gunslingers because of experience and his game savvy. He is a very accurate passer as well. Bowman is going to surprise a lot of talking heads this year.

    As a note on Morton: He played and put up those stats with an injured shoulder.
    All to say he deserves to be ranked down a bit due to injury concern, but he has a much higher ceiling than his numbers might suggest.
    Easily won QB2 job over Donovan Smith and was Tech's highest rated QB recruit in the ranking history.
    For that reason alone, I'd swap DS and BM.

  • @DWayne-ne5yh

    Behren Morton very underrated. He had a grade 3 shoulder sprain during all the games he played. Also- his talent is one of the top on the list. He’s the highest rated QB Texas Tech has ever signed and Tech has signed some great QBs. He was elite 11 etc…watch out for Morton if he’s healthy

    • @3andOut_CFB
      @3andOut_CFB  2 місяці тому +1

      Absolutely agree. He was kind of thrown into a situation that he wasn’t really ready for and still played pretty well.

      Sanders is for sure #1 on the talent. I feel like 1-16 this season could be just about any of them. Morton included. The key for the championship will be whichever team can keep their #1 QB healthy all year. I expect every school aside from Arizona State and Cincinnati to be markedly better this season and it'll honestly be remarkable if anyone makes it out of the season with fewer than 2 blemishes on their record

      Keep an eye on Garrett Green from West Virginia, he is a dual-threat quarterback and at the Manning camp they raided him number one he has been working on his passing game a lot mainly the underneath stuff he has a very good arm for the long passes. Let's go mountaineers.

    • @joshleyva2249
      @joshleyva2249 Місяць тому

      yeah if he stays healthy Morton is going to be very good. Donovan Smith is way too high. He's an incredible athlete, but he's very raw and inconsistent. He started playing QB pretty late in high school, so it's not all his fault but he needs more time to develop between the ears.

    I really think Sorsby is going to surprise people. He did well against Penn St on the road. Had 15 TDs - 5 Ints against some quality defenses.
    The o line should be ok this year, return everyone from last year so a lot of experience there. The real concern is going to be with the wr room and coaching.

  • @JRPrice-vu8ju
    @JRPrice-vu8ju 2 місяці тому +3

    Interesting comparison, but as always, injuries or lack of injuries will determine the success of QBs in the Big 12. Daniels has not played in 2 years so it will be interesting to see how he plays. Cam is allso injury prone.
    Morton will probably have an improved OL to help protect him, and will have some burners at WR to throw to.
    Sanders may be the best QB skill wise, but will be playing on a crap team.
    It should be fun watching the Big 12 this year.

    I was hoping for some confirmation bias, but didn't find any. 🐸 I did expect Sanders to be top 3, but if his dad fails to figure out how to protect a QB, Shadeur won't survive to take another 52 sacks.

    You could've picked all 16 starting QBs out of a hat and done a better job. What a freaking joke. Bowman 14th? Daniels 8th? And of course you completely broke your rule about projecting talent with Johnson who's barely even played and what he's done was negligible.
    That was a total waste of my time.
