Yeah, kind of a lot. My husband can't have gluten, so I used chickpea flour, (we have a savory pancake recipe using it that's pretty great on its own) and then I added a little goat cheese, garlic, green onions and red pepper, with cumin and turmeric for spices, and oh my goodness they were so good.
Fritters are great, you can throw just about anything in to them. I like courgette with roasted peppers (to be honest, I like anything with courgette and/or roasted peppers). They're also good if you have left over food, or cooked mix of veg as you can make your own little 'burgers' or leftover curry always work. Have fun experimenting!
Haha, so Lost Cities is the gateway board game? As for Better Call Saul -- whoa! Let's just calm down for a second, lol. it's fantastic, but I'm not sure it's better -- yet. I hear you, though. The story about how he became a morally blurred lawyer is so fascinating. And for some reason is more intriguing to me than a guy who becomes a drug dealer to provide for his family. And he's way more entertaining as a protagonist, right? He's funny, charming, and endearing. Whereas Walter White was so serious all the time. Still, it's only the second season, so I'm not sure I'm ready to board your ship, but I'm starting to feel the same way.
+Danmartinlikesyou Lost Cities is great, especially if you have a partner or flatmate you really want to play with! It's simple but also has a good amount of depth and tension. It's pretty cheap too and hours of fun! Okay that's a good point that we haven't seen where Better Call Saul is going. I'd like to see more of his depressing Cinnabon life and I wonder if we'll see the origins of Gus as well...
Lost Cities is a lot of fun. I always break it out in the summer to play in the park... have you played Carcassonne? Another good game for people somewhat new to the world of gaming. Great video!
+mementomori I've played a bit of carcassone been meaning to pick it up; I hear it's a classic gateway game! So happy to hear you've played Lost Cities though. Have you played the 3-4 player version? I only have the original 2 player card game!
+Jakob Tanner I have not played the version for 3-4, no. Super fun game though. Also check out King of Tokyo... INCREDIBLY fun yet low key game. I've never gotten past the more classic gateway type board games myself but interested in trying one that is a little more in detailed.
+mementomori Been meaning to try King of Tokyo! I'd say the most hardcore game I've played so far is A Game of Thrones: The Board Game 2nd edition. You need a thick skin, but it's a guaranteed 2 hours of backstabbing tension!!
Just piping in to say... you inspired me to make courgette fritters and they're unbelievably delicious and easy. Thanks!
+BooksandQuestions YAY! I'm so happy to hear. Did you jazz them up at all? :D

Yum, courgette fritters! And I love hearing about all the board games!
+A Hermit's Progress Okay good. Cause you'll hear more next month :) Have you played any recently?? :)
