Wonder Womam, i don't know her but i know Supergirl
if you're intrested
"So this next step is completely optional... but we waited six months for everything to dry"
spit my drink at work hahahaha
😂😂❤️
😂😂😂😂
it's always good to see you too doing a project that's quick and easy and only takes a couple of months. (LOL)
Haha, #realisticDIY
yeah...too bad this project wasn't it (12 months is not a couple LOL)
Michael Clark it’s a joke
Ahh the good ole 6-month dry time. I have several projects tied up in the extra drying/curing time 😁
When you really have to be sure haha 🤣
Great job on the bracers! Thank you for plugging our book, you're the best
Thanks so much! For anyone wanting to become a Foamsmith check them out: punishedprops.com/foamsmith/ (print and digital)
@Punished Props Academy - Great Job on the books! I bought your Punished Pack of ebooks after watching this video! Downloading them was so simple and I can't wait to get creating with them. 🤖👽🧚♀️🧟♂️🤓
The books are AMAZING
I don't think I've ever seen Wonder Woman smile and giggle so much
never heard of giggle gadot? This is what the team called Gal while shooting the film. You should see the outtakes of her. She is so adorable
Good thing she's not evil. If I was that cute, I would totally rule the world.
OMG SO RIGHT!
"Unsquaring" is much more relatable and translatable (to normie-speak) than "chamfering".
Thank you!!! -k 😋😋😋
The heck's a chamfer and which topical ointment do I use on it? O.o #DoNotWant
The entering time I was thinking... “you mean, rounding the corners?” But unsquaring def made more sense here. 😂
The big reveal with Katelyn at the end would have been AMAZING with the beard. lol
Hahaha! The beard actually didn't exist yet when we filmed it!
I know this video is 2 years old but it's really cool to see the difference in how you guys acted back then compared to now. You can really see how much you guys have changed and gotten comfortable with youtube and you're showing more of you guys! You guys are my favourite UA-camrs and i wish you the best. love you guys!
8:10 "Perfect" *don't think he was talking about the bracers*
Yay bracers!! You did a great job, they look fantastic. and I love the part where you gave up on the leather wrapping:) Sometimes you just gotta get through a project.....
Haha for real! Creative liberties right? 😋😋
@@EvanAndKatelyn Totally!
Evan was laughing at Katelyn when she said "unsquaring" . She got sad . Awwww
Hahah but that was funny😂😂
And she was absolutely correct in her explanation of the task.
Honestly, I only recently learned the word "chamfer" from another UA-cam channel.
I stand by unsquaring!!! -K 😋
I love how absolutely wholesome you two are
This was such a fun project! And, yeah, I have totally definitely never let a project sit around "drying" for 6 months (okay, maybe 5 and a half...). I'm glad Evan let Katelyn borrow the tiara back for the costume reveal!! Great job, guys! #TeamUnsquaring
Haha I'm gracious (and modest) like that 👑🤣😋 think the main reason most of our projects are not sitting around "drying" is because we have all you awesome people helping motivate us 😊
Wow this costume looks amazing on Katelyn! It turns her into a real goddess! So beautiful!
Katelyn was so cute when she said unsquaring the edges. Very adorable contrast to Evans burliness. Love you guys :)
❤️❤️
Outstanding result in the end.
Keep up the hard work and keep smiling.
You both look lovely together.
Best wishes.
💐
Yayyy!! Thanks so much 😊
@Evanandkatelyn Katelyn u are already Wonder Woman even before the bracelets
I love the music you guys use. It's so swingy and jazzy and just super pleasant.
These look great!! And those eyelashes during those glamour shots - damn , girl, damn!!
Thank you! We love picking music for the videos. Haha and I totally cheated with the lashes, I used false little end ones for the outside corners!
I've always been intimidated by the thought of doing props for costumes, but you make it look really easy. Those bracers came out amazing, I can't wait to see the whole costume together!
It's not too bad at all!! You should try it if you're interested 😊
ya'll are seriously the most adorable couple on youtube... and wins brains to boot! haha
Aw thank you so much! ❤️❤️
As we all know, Wonder Woman would never go into battle without her armored kitty! So maybe a kitty armor video is in order? Fantastic stuff as always!
Yes kitty armor! We would love it, but I don't know how the Supurrvisor would feel about it...
Yay! Katelyn looks spot on Gal!
Thank ya!
4:03 haha katelyns face when evan kept laughing jst a lil too long is hilarious
Hahaha 😂😂
I love how dorky you guys are ❤
The special effects + cat at the end were amazing! These turned out awesome :)
Haha! You can thank Evan for those special effects and you can thank the Supurrvisor for blessing us with her presence
Them: waits six months just to start painting and then waits another month to finish it
UA-cam: well ill hop on the trend and wait a year to recommend me this
😂😂😂
lol, they came out great! I.m sure that Bill would approve. Paint and glue will dry overnight for sure but it takes 6 months to fully cure so, well done!
I approve!
Thanks for watching y'all!! We'll be streaming live on twitch.tv/evanandkatelyn today at 8:30 PM Central Time if you want to stop by and say hi 👋
unsquaring = chamfering
20:30 Friday, Central Time (CT) is
02:30 Saturday, in United Kingdom
@@alberttetley We don't have a set streaming schedule so sometimes we stream after lunch too! Maybe you could catch one of those. We haven't streamed in the morning yet but that seems like something fun to do on a weekend 😊🎮🕹️
I enjoy your stream so even if I can't watch them live I watch him the next day. also why does your headphone have novelty ears?
@@alberttetley because Katelyn is essentially part Kitty hence the ears
Evan and Katelyn,
You two crack me up. It is extremely enjoyable to watch you both reacting so genuinely to each other, and to your own, um, hiccups, during the project. We have all had those projects that we start and never seem to finish...
Keep up the fun!
Thank you so much! Haha glad we aren't alone!
You guys should do more cosplay stuff, this was so fun to watch!
Nice, they look really cool!
Thank you!
Awwww... Look at you guys using your foamsmith skills! Great job PropTarts!
WOO! I tried to find an emoticon for PropTarts and all I could find was this sandwich 🥪
Yes, excellent work!
Now that is a cool and easy project I can do!
I appreciate the sponsorship time bar at the bottom
We try to be courteous and let everyone see how long it'll be 🙂👍
You guys are really creative!!
Thank you!
Looks amazing! 😍😍 You did a great job on it!! And you look like a real wonder woman
Thank you so much!
This is amazing! I love you guys and what you do! You’re so funny!
Am I the only one sitting in 2020 while in quarantine watching this?
These came up so well! (Not that I expect any less from you guys!)
Yayy thanks! Really happy with them too 😊
I'm a table-top miniature hobby games collector (hoarder). I have models that have been on my list of "to be painted" for way over 6 months! You two are a real inspiration for finishing what we start!
Everything gets finished... Eventually! Good luck on your models!
Super flaming awesome laser cat points! Great vid. Bracers came out awesome.
Haha the best kind of points! Thank you!
You guys are the best!
Aw thank you!
That sweet sweet 'score marks opening under heat' footage
Omg I love you guys so much. Best part of my day is watching/listening to your content. I find you guys bring out my inner dorky laugh. Lol My neighbours must think I’m nuts.
Thank you for so much!!! Release the dorky laugh!
It is people like you that keep UA-cam alave . It is a real pleasure to watch your videos and I really mean it. If you could only see the big smile on my face when I'm watching your videos.
Aw thank you so much!
Yep, gonna scale this down for my daughter (almost 3) for Halloween!! Thanks! She's gonna LOVE EM!!!
Really easy project suggestion to continue the theme, Invisible Jet!
Evil Ted Smith has taught me tons about costume and prop making.
Oooh yeah that would be an awesome addition!! 😋 We mostly learned from Punished Props but we've heard about Evil Ted a lot from them!
Aww man! I only just found this video 2 weeks after my first deadline! I did a kinda similar project, where I took a cellotape casting of my knee and then added paper maché and a belt to make a bag
y'alls vids always brighten my day! so refreshing keep it up guys!!
Thank you so much!
Y’all make me laugh! Thanks!
Yayyy mission accomplished 😊😊
It's always so much fun watching you two. :)
Aw thank you!
WONDER-ful!
Haha thanks!
You go, Gal! ... OK, time to give the headband back to Katelyn now ;)
Hey, anybody else have a little sister that would do this with Dixie cups?
Sounds like a creative use of Dixie cups!
@@EvanAndKatelyn Hey, Just to make sure. I hope my silly joke wasn't offensive. I really do like how freely you two can play around together. My wife and I do the same kind of thing.
These two are couple goals!!!!!!
d'awww 😋
See you next year for the armor bustier! Then, 2021 the belt, 2022 the skirt, and 2023 the legs! Halloween 2024, here we come! ;)
Haha fingers crossed 🤞😋
NO NO NO NO!!!!! Please don't give Hollywood any more bad ideas. Let the Halloween franchise rest in peace. No Halloween 2024!! 😋
Nice one, Now to complete it with the Lasso of truth!
and the sword!
Ok wonder woman Katelyn. I see you.
They came out great Y'all! 😍👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻 Awesome video too! 😁
Thank you so much Fred!
Very Cool Wonder Woman braces. You look great Katelyn
Thank you!
This is seriously awesome!! You guys had me at Wonder Woman lol :D When I first saw the thumbnail I thought...oh geez how much is the material gonna be to make and then I was pleasantly surprised :) You guys are super creative!
Thank you!! Yep yep super cheap material cost :D
That was awesome.
thank you!
Katelyn so could have pulled off playing wonder woman!! Nice!
Poor Katelyn lol! first painting the wrong bit gold, and then having the sloth claw :p
Haha she's fully healed since "the claw" incedent 🤣😋
"...we should definitely time-lapse this...": words I soooo need to integrate into my life...great vid!
Haha if only we could timelapses tasks in real life!
So funny, I just subscribed yesterday after watching your Wonder Woman tiara video, glad to see you're continuing with bracers! (these are great inspiration/resources for a She-Ra reboot cosplay I'm planning!!!)
What a coincidence! Good luck on your She-Ra 😁😁
Awesome job on the bracers to match the Tiara. Definitely expecting you guys to cosplay at some point lol. Also another way you can try to weather is by laying on a bit thicker layer of blacks and burnt umber and all the rusty colors and dipping a paper towel in some acetone or thinner and making light passes to peel back. Just found its a more consistent way to weather metal like pieces. Still a great job! Keep up the awesome content!!!
Oooh we'll have to try that sometime!
This video was out on my birthday!
Evan is like éOne kitty cast for the lady, coming right up!" :D Love you guys
I demand a kitty cast! Haha thank you ❤️❤️
Thats so cool
Thanks!
Positively, you can think of it like all these time you did acquire a lot of new skills. So the end product would looks even better than if you got it done last year!
I like the way you think!
Now you have something to go with your wildly successful Etsy wonder woman Tiara. I like it a lot!
Now just gotta do the rest of the costume!
awesome project, looks like the work that one bald guy does with the star wars helmets i think i seen a clip of him with you guys in one episode.
Its almost Halloween again we are ready fro the rest of the costume. 😄❤
The deflection of the laser beams had me on the floor with laughter! It was made only better with Evan's pew-Pew sounds! lol
Hahaha! Thank you! We're here to provide lols 😁😁
Love u guys!!
❤️❤️❤️
SO glad to learn that I need to let things dry for at least a month. Now all my projects will be AWESOME!
Yes 1-6 months preferably!
Wow!
Thanks!
damn, Katelyn looks amazing as Wonder Woman! And that's no small feat considering she's played by one of the sexiest women on Earth!
I can make a pair out of a Progresso Soup cans, after filing down the sharp edges. Oh yea and some rustoleum Paint
those might actually block some impacts!
Never missed watching you guys since i got subbed. Love the video
Awww ❤️❤️ thanks so much for sticking with us through all our videos 😊
Awesome special affects! That green screen is coming in handy!
haha thank you! putting it to good use ;P
Fun to watch... Love the wrecking ball cut...:)
Hahaha thanks Scott!! It was probably one of our favorite moments from that stream 😋
Katelyn, don’t worry about unsquaring things! I unsquared some cabinet doors I was making this weekend. 😆
Yeah who needs ⏹️s??
At a glance you looked just like the wonder women from the movie. Very pretty. awesome project love watching you're videos they are funny and great projects!
How am I just seeing this now?!?! Great vid.
Thank you!
Yayyy. Finally .
haha probably one of our most delayed projects so far 😋
Katelyn you have amazing hair!
Thank you!
Amazing. Katelyn is like a one third scale Gal Gadot.... :)
Haha, she is actually just 4" shorter, I'm just pretty tall at 6'5" 😋
EvanAndKatelyn Evan what did your parents feed you?!
Yassss cosplay
Those came out great. Lasso of Truth next?
Oooh that would be fun to make out of EL wire somehow!
I have only gotten to 4:33 - still laughing at 'unsquare' and I saw it. Yes, friends, they were the SAME HEIGHT!! You can zoom in and frame the shot much better. I assume one of you was sitting while one of you was standing? OK - back to the vid. Yes, I think 6 months is juuuuuust enough drying time. :-)
Oh - and K - I'm tight with Batman too. Oh crap - did I just blow THAT?!
Thought - go ahead and save the world. I think that would be by far the easiest way to 'age' them.
Haha yes, if ever we look to be the same height, it's because Evan is on a stool :P Oh no!!!! Batman is gonna ghost you now!!!
K your wonder woman makeup goes hard
much love from Israel!!! your videos are so awsome!!
Thank you! And hello from Texas! 👋
I feel so empowered to create!!!
You can do it! 💪
Taking notes... 6 months drying time, got it! They look awesome, no matter how long it took. I laughed so hard at the Batman bit. 😂 Thanks for sharing!
yep 6 months at least if you want the project to really guilt trip you every time you walk by and see it there waiting to be finished ;P
One thing that would help with that gap and is an easy project is to make a foam ruler in the thickness of foam that your using.
We do need to make one of those! Luckily for us, the gap is there in the real costume too
They look great! If it makes you feel any better I recently found a project 3/4 of the way done I started about 15 years ago 😂
Thanks! Haha that does make me feel better
you guys are so funny keep up the great work!
Thank you!
