Thank you for posting this video. I have had the same machine for the past 14 years and never done the blades.

If I ever borrow anything, I always make sure it’s as good, or better than when I picked it up. It’s only fair. The tools I own are all looked after and clean so when I lend them out, I expect them to be cleaned when I get them back. Nice gesture, doing this for your friend. Great video, thanks.

That’s an excellent machine because the flywheel is supported on both sides by a bearing. The latest ones are direct drive and everything hangs off the engine bearing. And the shock of chipping from the fly wheel cutter is transferred directly to the engine. Keep that great machine!

ha ha- angle grinder and Chinese benchtop belt sander- no model numbers needed. every job I do is done in the most cost effective way. I never buy a tool that will only perform one task

Tell Barry you will want to borrow it on a regular basis could he buy the optional behind-mower tow bar first. See how that goes. 🤔

On my Mighty Mac, there's what I call a anvil or stationary blade that has slots to be able to take up the gap to let the rotating blade do it's job.

That’s how to borrow tools… bare minimum on return ‘if’ you don’t have the skills is clean and how you got it. Or if you do have the ability… better than you got it👍
