@CraigGrant-sh3in I doubt it after all this! Chances are he was charged with at least 2nd degree, & he most likely used that gun, so that's 25 years for just the murder of his dad. That's not counting moving & hiding the body, going on a high speed chase, shooting while driving, & attempted murder of a cop! He won't be seeing the free world for a WHILE!
Imagine a murderer blatantly try to murder you, stopping the threat and then putting your entire focus on saving said threat's life. Kudos to those selfless officers with a true agenda of protecting and serving
It's because of body cameras. The department could be sued if they just let him bleed out while swearing at him telling he deserves to die like they did with the west Hollywood bank robber.
From a medical perspective - these cops did an amazing job, packing, tq, finding wounds, stopping the bleeding. This is one of the best video i have seen of cops rendering medical care to a perpetrator or a killer. You did good. Sincerely a critical care paramedic
@@G1Fenzo Nah, i have been watching these police videos for a long time, and there were some that kept fighting even when shot. And even after falling down as their body seemingly gives out, they still wouldn't cry and moan, instead fighting the officers with all they got, many officers having to pile on top trying to get the arms together to cuff with difficulty as the guy keeps on bleeding. So no, not like anyone in the world, there are some who won't give up the fight or cry even with multiple bullets in them. Then again, i doubt such people have the idea to continue living either, they probably already make up their minds to do or die before they even get shot.
the cops legally have to render aid, its not like they did it from the bottom of their hearts. Everything is documented, you think the cops want "cop refused to help victim after shooting him resulting in death" on their record? NO.

@@TheProtagonistDiesI've seen enough of these vids to know that they render aide if it's not a clear death, to all races. I have yet to see them look at the suspect, walk away from rendering aide because he's black. Stop embarrassing yourself.
These officers deserve recognition. They're a shining example of how to appropriately react to a deadly threat once neutralized. They kept calm, provided clear communication with each other, gave affirmation to the wounded suspect he would survive while taking measures to ensure he does. Well done all around. Couldn't have done a better job myself. 👏
This sort of after shooting treatment needs to be standardized in all departments. Because we have all seen videos of police shooting a person and doing nothing more than handcuffing them afterward and standing around until EMS comes on scene. People bleed out and die because of that
Yeeep 100% agree. They gave that guy 0 room to breathe or run or what ever. Just straight up "challenge accepted, lets fucking go". Would have been cool if the pick up rammed just "little" harder.
I honestly don’t think I could do what these cops do, having to defend your life and shoot back and strike the suspect, all to have to start rendering life saving measures to a person that just tried to kill you
Feel the same way. Especially after having someone point a gun in my face and try and kill me. No way I’d let that dude live after that. Respect to those officers
Absolutely incredible training and response by this department. Everything from high stress shooting, reloading, cover, communication, and emergency medical care all under extremely high stress. Well done.
😕🤔Really? The way that pick up truck bounced off the SUV hot rodding into the side of the suspects car? Serving himself up to the suspects direct gunfire?? The cop in the dark SUV, serving himself up driving and parking directly into crossfire of the other officer??? Really??? The suspect TC’d, that was a time for some deescalation and a planned approach, not keystone cops…I do commend all of their actions after the shootout, but man…
KOZGERFWAD not to mention all the officers started administering first aid without ever clearing the suspects vehicle, they just assumed he was the only person in the truck. That was still a potentially dangerous situation without a thorough check of the truck.
The good and genuine police officers out there deserve the upmost respect. Having to shoot at a suspect trying to kill you and then immediately trying to save their life once the threat is neutralized is insane. That takes a lot of heart and bravery
Well they must do so , otherwise it could be a big deal for them, if he dies no problem but he still a live so it could be use against them in court , they should have secured the area and the fired rounds if it needs to be fired, but since they rammed in to him and stared firing, now by law they are in the wrong for not proper training, so they gatta play around too , otherwise it could be a law suit against them for improper training
@@ticowdamurda6283 so what you’re saying is the cops should’ve secured the area before firing a shot? That’s gotta be the stupidest shyt I ever heard besides the other idiots in office. Kudos to the cops
Another faux tough guy that thinks he wouldn't crumple over and do the exact same in agony himself if he was hit by multiple 9mm and perhaps even .45 HP rounds, lol. Not saying the guy didn't deserve it, he did - but you rejoicing in others pain only makes you look cringe and edgy and highlights the fact that you've never been in a situation like this - and if you have, then you've very obviously never recovered from your own trauma you're likely too scared to admit exists lol.
Their professionalism is incredible. He's trying to kill them, and they do all to stop him, including almost killing him, yet they immediately switch to life saving the second he's down. Incredible.
I sympathise for the family involved, having to find your own father murdered and dumped in a ditch must be heartbreaking. Glad the cops put this monster behind bars.

@@notthefather3919 Yes, Sherlock, we are aware. The point is most of us (including you) don't have the balls to do a job like this, so we're grateful to those who do. Statistically cops have very high rates of suicide and other self destructive habits that form due to the stresses and nightmarish things you see and experience as a cop. It can be a torturous life, stress levels off the radar, knowing any moment could be your last even if it's a benign traffic stop. So yes, what the cops did here is amazing. And yes, it's their job. That's what makes them amazing, they stepped up to take on one of the most dangerous and mentally destructive jobs out there, but one that is necessary for society. They are heroes. Deal with it.
Simply outstanding how they scramble to try to save his life, despite what he just did. And the way they talk to him with empathy. That must be really hard- but these are the cops that our society needs if we are going to survive these dark times.
Update for those curious, they found the body of his father. Their family flew in to help look for the father all week. The sister used an app to track the family trucks movements and followed it to a nearby lake and discovered her fathers body wedged in some bushes. Honestly, they need to bring back the death penalty into full swing again for people like this.
I used to be a full fledged believer in the death penalty but I’m not so sure anymore. If you commit a “deadly crime” you ultimately are already going to die. Might as well drag down as many people with you on the way out. I’m not sure if that’s how it would go though
Our police officer's don't get paid nearly enough for what they go through...Thank you & much respect to you guys for trying to keep citizens safe. 👏 🙏
Considering that Police Officer isn't even one of the 20 most dangerous jobs in the US (look it up, Roofers, Farmers, Truck Drivers, even AV Equipment Installers have a higher death rate), I would say they are paid pretty well. But maybe you are referencing the mental anguish the job brings, in which case you may have a point. It's a very stressful job and a lot of police and former police have lots of issues, including an incredibly high rate of domestic violence. I'd prefer they have access to more mental health services rather than more pay though. More pay won't help them and their families as much as the officer's mental health will.

Officers like these deserve to be commended for their commitment to saving any life, regardless of the circumstance.
Yeah I said it to myself today, I'm glad I'm not a cop. saw a few cases that were updated in Wisconsin. my moral compass would be completely destroyed and I'd most likely go against already in place Protocol to actually eliminate them especially if they already have a criminal record. still amazes me every time I see these types of vids where the suspect survives either initially on video or way after even and they're now pleading to be helped, when they just threw out the care of everyone else around them minutes/hours before. especially when it concerns guns.
Some cops are amazing. Really out here serving and protecting. @scratching for cash its their job. Also, there have been court cases where the footage showed the cops not caring for the downed criminal and was viewed as very callous. Police departments across the nation focus on training to ensuing its officers provide first aid to avoid the appearance of shooting citizens and then behaving callously.

That was very intense. An officer and a suspect shooting at each other at damn near point blank range. It's crazy how everyone came out of this pursuit alive. Great job officers!
The deputy who rammed the crashed vehicle really screwed everyone else and needlessly endangered his life there. He placed himself in harm's way without the immediate ability to respond, and created a cross-fire situation for the officers who had already arrived and began firing. He's lucky to be alive.
@@drewwellington9337 He most likely did that in hopes that if the suspect had his gun in his hand, the impact would shake him and make him drop it. Another reason he might have done it, is to block the driver side door shut. Think about it, if he hadn't rammed that side of the car, the suspect could have gotten out and fired at them from there, and now he might be able to flee somewhere and take a hostage or something. Ultimately, it was a good tactic that potentially saved the situation from getting worse than it already was. Yes, it came with some risks, but I think ultimately it did more good than harm.

As mentioned several times in this section thanks for not blurring anything out. It needs to be shown to everyone and it needs to be know if you make criminal choices then your consequences get shown to the public just that simple. Oh yeah the department would have had to release me because I am never going to try and save someone who try and kill me or others

What kind of weak sheep society do we live in where we have to save their lives directly after they tried to kill us? Yeah No someone better change that law.
Officers do have dangerous jobs but, at the same time, we need to remember that the biggest things that kill police is car accidents where they drive like maniacs w/o lights and sirens followed by suicide. For the most part, police kill themselves.
The description mentions an argument with his father being the reason for this chase. The father was missing since the day before this encounter and later found dead in Lake Avalon. Evidence from a tracking app for the truck strongly suggests that the kid killed him and dumped the body there. This kid deserves no remorse and it is unfortunate that he survived the shootout.
While I do agree with you fully, the judgement is based on current facts. Let's say there will be new evidence that the father abused and/or sexually during his upbringing. The police saves life’s not take them. But this cruel world proven that police needs to carry guns and protect and save. When they took the oath to protect and serve, they are going to protect and help each person they come across each day. A life is not replaceable.

Just read an article on the suspect that said he is now facing murder charges for killing his dad. This is the most quick form of instant karma ive ever seen.
@@drewwellington9337 You have no clue what you are saying- stick to things you understand

Almost as if 90% of the bullshit you see and hear online about our LEOs is a complete lie to fabricate widespread mistrust.
Officers do have dangerous jobs but, at the same time, we need to remember that the biggest things that kill police is car accidents where they drive like maniacs w/o lights and sirens followed by suicide. For the most part, police kill themselves.
He thought it was GTA5 but he forgot that in real life there is no instant recovery or second life
Will never understand how you can throw your whole life away like this
And to murder your father
The description mentions an argument with his father being the reason for this chase. The father was missing since the day before this encounter and later found dead in Lake Avalon. Evidence from a tracking app for the truck strongly suggests that the kid killed him and dumped the body there. This kid deserves no remorse and it is unfortunate that he survived the shootout.
While I do agree with you fully, the judgement is based on current facts. Let's say there will be new evidence that the father abused and/or sexually during his upbringing. That would give a whole nother perspective on the given situation. Point is, always stay true to the facts and be ready to change your view on things.
No it is good that he lived, he had to endure severe physical pain and now rot in a cell hating his existence for decades. I love that he will be suffering at any given moment that he pops into my head, forever.
Its good that he is alive to suffer pain and hate. And im hoping theres a torture inside the prison for new comers that commits murder crime. If medieval-like torturing is still a thing now.... people would prolly be afraid to commit murders.

Officers are mostly under appreciated by the DemonicRats leaders.
I mean he did use a whole clip from about 6 feet away and missed most of them. Another cop was shooting from 100 feet away while his partner was in crossfire. Terrible marksmanship for people who are issued a deadly weapon as part of the job.... that or they burn 14 year olds alive. But sure they are under appreciated
If they always acted this way then it wouldn’t be that way. If only the good people that are also police could speak out against the bad apples, but the bad apples are really good at spoiling the bunch. The culture of cops protecting cops is a very very real thing, and until that goes away they will be deservedly unappreciated. I of course appreciate when they do things like this (in other words do their jobs well)
Too often we see the cops shoot when they shouldn’t (5 innocent bystanders shot by police in Denver as they shot at an unrelated individual a couple days ago) and not shoot when they should (Uvalde)
@@abikuneebus Your comparison works just as well with the citizens of America. Majority are good people but we let the bad apples progressively slip. The cops are escalating at the same rate as criminals and the people that let it happen have no value in America, on all sides.
