There will always be total jerks. But I do think the vast majority of people are nice and supportive. I only know one other person’s channel that is as overwhelmingly supportive. It took some time for this to happen. I know it’s hard to ignore the negative people, but I see other people taking up for you. Your channel is not boring by any means. I’m a few months behind you with my cancer situation, so I look at you for what is possible.
Some people love all the things I hate fakery, materialism and lots of other things, real people with good hearts are boring to them so be it I say I feel sorry for them to be honest

In this life there will be always people that whatever we do they will never be satisfied. It is their problem my dear not ours! You didn’t say whether or not doctors suggest/offered chemo and you turned it down or they told you it wasn’t necessary but it sounds like you personally decided against it. Hope they explained that removing visible cancer doesn’t mean removing all cancer. Cancer can’t be seen until its visible enough for current technology to detect it.
@@BrissyLil I don’t know anything about that, I was just genuinely curious as to why there was no adjuvant therapy after the lung resection. The answer wasn’t clear. It also concerned me when she said in a recent video, “now that there’s no cancer cells left in my body” There’s no way to know that, not even for doctors. From a professional perspective there were a lot of red flags for mental health during the course of this journey, more obvious earlier but a few still remain. It’s sad so many people don’t see mental health maintenance as important, it is and more so when going through something life changing and traumatic. There were a lot of appointments where it was only Tiffany and Amma present and many here suggested linking with a patient advocacy service or social worker to assist with unpacking information. Not sure if the treatment team suggested or offered these resources as don’t recall it being mentioned. There is great loss and grief to be worked through and this in particular can be greatly helped with counselling for Tiffany, for Matt too if he was also struggling with what the surgeries meant for them.
Just to clarify a bit in the way that you did for us about what a hen-do is, I would like to explain the idea of “preventative” chemotherapy. The following information is not from a generic online search but from an education about using the term “ preventative” chemotherapy. I am fortunate enough and thank God that I am able to be treated for my very rare cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. MD Anderson is widely regarded as the #1 cancer treatment center in the world and certainly in the U.S. While I was there, the whole unfortunate story of Princess Catherine and her having “preventative” chemotherapy broke. The oncologists and a few patients who were there for a 2nd, even 3rd recurrence were discussing how this is not the best or accurate way to describe this treatment except in the sense that everything done medically, even us disinfecting and bandaging our own wounds is preventative. The correct term for treatment received after surgery like Princess Catherine is having is adjuvant chemotherapy, which is given after surgery to try to destroy any microscopic cancer cells still in the body. If you need chemotherapy before surgery, that is called neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Some people, of course, need both. I wouldn’t have known these terms for treatments myself if I hadn’t been where I was when I was, but I appreciate knowing them now. However, perhaps preventative chemotherapy is a particular term for where you live. Once I got cancer, I have become perhaps hyper-focused on trying to ask as many very detailed questions as I can, so I’m certainly not trying to be rude here. I only found you a few months ago and love watching your videos. I love watching you do your 'boring or regular' every day life. My oldest son was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer when he was 30, he is 54 now. He has had 6 major surgeries to remove the thyroid and lymph nodes where the cancer spread. His life has never gotten back to 'regular' days. The side effects of not having a working thyroid and the medicine he is on to try to help it, have left him a pretty miserable life in all ways. From depression, anxiety, shaking hands and more too numerous to mention. 2 years ago he had an attack of pancreatitis and is now dealing with those issues and praying for no more major attacks. It makes me happy to see you going on with your life even though you have to deal with regular tests and issues. Keep talking and sharing...I care , and enjoy your personality and strength through all of this very much.
Dear Cindie, My heart breaks reading your message. What a terrible way your son has to live, and you must worry about how he will cope when you're no longer here. We all take our heallth forgranted until something happens to compromise that. I feel terrible for your son and being a mother myself, I couldn't imagine how I'd cope mentally knowing my son had to endure such pain every day. I'm currently living with chronic knee pain and terrible depression brought on by the menopause. I'm a year older than your son and I find life very difficult myself navigating through this knee pain, menopause symptoms and dealing with becoming an empty nester. I miss my two grown-up sons, 29 and 31, like a flower misses the rain. I'm sending you lots of love and your son, despite his unfortunate circumstances, he's so very lucky to have you as his mum. You sound a very loving and caring mother, who'd swap places with her son's ongoing pain in a heartbeat. Xx

Just in relation to the question about chemotherapy, so it was your deciaion not to have preventative chemo? I was of the impression that if the markers were clear you wouldnt require it, the opposite however it would be necessary?
I had a hysterectomy when I was 31 years old. Thank God we already had two children, so it wasn't too much of a blow. He is my knight in shining armor as we have been married 40 years in July. I am 61 years old today, and I am more than happy with the life I was given. I wish I had a friend like you Tiffany, you are a very strong woman, so proud of you ❤❤❤!
Happy birthday 😃. I too was married 40 years. My husband died 2 years ago from covid, 6 days after our 40th wedding anniversary. The hospital didn’t let me talk to him or see him on our anniversary, even though they knew I had just gotten over covid. However, I am grateful to God and my Kevan for the great 40 years. I am choosing to stay single for the rest of my life. I will see Kevan again because we both put our trust in Jesus as our Savior. I wish you all the happiness. God bless. P.S. I actually liked the way Tiffany addressed the issue of people saying her videos are 'boring.' Instead of apologizing, which she tends to do because she clearly doesn't like to ruffle feathers, she's a people pleaser and she cares so much what others think...she owns her feelings and stands by them. These qualities are scarcely found in people anymore, as is her genuineness & sincerity. The studies on HRT that were older were seriously flawed. There is a new book by Dr. Mary Claire Haver called The New Menopause that was just released TODAY. She is a HUGE advocate for womens health and looks at the latest research. HRT is highly protective over so much and you have to weigh the pros and cons. I have a genetic mutation but no history of breast cancer etc in my family and I had a very hard time getting prescribled HRT by several doctors. All I can say is thank god I found a doctor that was willing because my hot flashes were unbearable and plenty. I had many other harsh symptoms that I was dealing with and they have eased as well. I DO also have a family history of health concerns that HRT helps with. So, it was simple decision for me and I do get my regular exams, which is a MUST anyways.
I guess I just got lucky. I didn’t hit menopause until I was 58, but I loved every moment of it. There was no prelude to it. My nose got hot a few times, but that was it. I breezed through it and am happy to be done with having periods. My sister didn’t have it as easy.
You have been through a long journey. It’s a blessing to watch such a lovely person. You’re amazing, forget the people who don’t understand, I do, and it takes amazing strength to do what you have. ❤

Please start getting mammograms every year if you go on HRT. .My aunt got breast cancer from HRT after only 2 years on it. She found her lump it was stage 2. They can test tumor and show its HRT related .This is very common with HRT. Blessings 🙏🏻

Those are the patches I was prescribed after I had to have a full hysterectomy because of ovarian cysts. The only place they would stick properly on me was on my hip so don't be afraid to try different places to stick it if you find it's not staying in place too well!

So glad you are giving HRT a try, Tiffany. It's been a lifesaver for me. I was having severe hot flashes every day, twice an hour, clothes wet. Sleep was impossible. So awful, and just too much to deal with. As far as youtube goes, I'm so glad you aren't letting the haters get to you. They must lead empty lives, we can only feel sorry for them. I put my patch on the side of my abdomen or right above the cup of my bra. Don’t forget your skin need to be clean and dry before putting your patch on. I hope it works for you

My oldest son was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer when he was 30, he is 54 now. He has had 6 major surgeries to remove the thyroid and lymph nodes where the cancer spread. His life has never gotten back to 'regular' days. The side effects of not having a working thyroid and the medicine he is on to try to help it, have left him a pretty miserable life in all ways. From depression, anxiety, shaking hands and more too numerous to mention. 2 years ago he had an attack of pancreatitis and is now dealing with those issues and praying for no more major attacks. It makes me happy to see you going on with your life even though you have to deal with regular tests and issues. Keep talking and sharing...I care , and enjoy your personality and strength through all of this very much.
Dear Cindie, My heart breaks reading your message. What a terrible way your son has to live, and you must worry about how he will cope when you're no longer here. We all take our heallth forgranted until something happens to compromise that. I feel terrible for your son and being a mother myself, I couldn't imagine how I'd cope mentally knowing my son had to endure such pain every day. I'm currently living with chronic knee pain and terrible depression brought on by the menopause. I'm a year older than your son and I find life very difficult myself navigating through this knee pain, menopause symptoms and dealing with becoming an empty nester. I miss my two grown-up sons, 29 and 31, like a flower misses the rain. I'm sending you lots of love and your son, despite his unfortunate circumstances, he's so very lucky to have you as his mum. You sound a very loving and caring mother, who'd swap places with her son's ongoing pain in a heartbeat. Xx

Just in relation to the question about chemotherapy, so it was your deciaion not to have preventative chemo? I was of the impression that if the markers were clear you wouldnt require it, the opposite however it would be necessary?
I had a hysterectomy when I was 31 years old. Thank God we already had two children, so it wasn't too much of a blow. He is my knight in shining armor as we have been married 40 years in July. I am 61 years old today, and I am more than happy with the life I was given. I wish I had a friend like you Tiffany, you are a very strong woman, so proud of you ❤❤❤!
Happy birthday 😃. I too was married 40 years. My husband died 2 years ago from covid, 6 days after our 40th wedding anniversary. The hospital didn’t let me talk to him or see him on our anniversary, even though they knew I had just gotten over covid. However, I am grateful to God and my Kevan for the great 40 years. I am choosing to stay single for the rest of my life. I will see Kevan again because we both put our trust in Jesus as our Savior. I wish you all the happiness. God bless. P.S. I actually liked the way Tiffany addressed the issue of people saying her videos are 'boring.' Instead of apologizing, which she tends to do because she clearly doesn't like to ruffle feathers, she's a people pleaser and she cares so much what others think...she owns her feelings and stands by them. These qualities are scarcely found in people anymore, as is her genuineness & sincerity. The studies on HRT that were older were seriously flawed. There is a new book by Dr. Mary Claire Haver called The New Menopause that was just released TODAY. She is a HUGE advocate for womens health and looks at the latest research. HRT is highly protective over so much and you have to weigh the pros and cons. I have a genetic mutation but no history of breast cancer etc in my family and I had a very hard time getting prescribled HRT by several doctors. All I can say is thank god I found a doctor that was willing because my hot flashes were unbearable and plenty. I had many other harsh symptoms that I was dealing with and they have eased as well. I DO also have a family history of health concerns that HRT helps with. So, it was simple decision for me and I do get my regular exams, which is a MUST anyways.
I guess I just got lucky. I didn’t hit menopause until I was 58, but I loved every moment of it. There was no prelude to it. My nose got hot a few times, but that was it. I breezed through it and am happy to be done with having periods. My sister didn’t have it as easy.

Please start getting mammograms every year if you go on HRT. .My aunt got breast cancer from HRT after only 2 years on it. She found her lump it was stage 2. They can test tumor and show its HRT related .This is very common with HRT. Blessings 🙏🏻

Those are the patches I was prescribed after I had to have a full hysterectomy because of ovarian cysts. The only place they would stick properly on me was on my hip so don't be afraid to try different places to stick it if you find it's not staying in place too well!

So glad you are giving HRT a try, Tiffany. It's been a lifesaver for me. I was having severe hot flashes every day, twice an hour, clothes wet. Sleep was impossible. So awful, and just too much to deal with. As far as youtube goes, I'm so glad you aren't letting the haters get to you. They must lead empty lives, we can only feel sorry for them. Best to delete/ignore and move on. Glad you're finding balance with the videos too. Always happy to see a new one pop up whenever you have a chance. 😊Sending love. 💙💙💙
