I've been listening to this fantastic Australian rock group for almost 30 years. This was my first concert with them, though, and they were outstanding!
I've come back to the albums Diesel And Dust (released in 1987) and Blue Sky Mine (released in 1990) countless times in my life, and in my opinion they easily make my top ten best albums ever released. I truly appreciate a lot of their other songs, too, but these two albums are absolute gems.
This Song Should be heard all over the world and for leaders to sit back and listen to it because it's for our children's children future.
That PG speech was well deserved. A decent live version, thank you👍 Love the Oils. In this recording Hirst kit and voice are cool ! And though he got to the band after this album, Bones Hillman was such a great player, he really made the band sound better.
I said it once, I will say it always: one of their greatest song
And that must be why I never heard of them.

Es ist unglaublich. Die Band rubbelt so sauber alles ab und der Sänger natürlich, das man denken könnte, es wäre von der Platte,,,,,isses aber nicht. Für mich sind Midnight Oil ganz Große!

That line "If the sea goes boiling black, can you tell me what youll do about that" hits with some weight fellas. The sea is our origin, our homested and it fuels our weather system. Without the sea all life is doomed.

Muss mich nochmal melden. Wenn man sieht mit welcher Detailverliebtheit hier gespielt wird, schaut Euch den Drummer an der kurz vorm Kotzen ist, aber seine Stimme immer wieder mit dem zugeschobenen Mikro einsetzt, dann sieht man....es ist eine BAND:und jedes Detail ist wichtig.....Great shit

If you’re wondering why Peter doesn’t mention Ukraine or Putin, it’s because the video was filmed in 2017 and Ukraine and Putin weren’t on everybody’s lips back then (although, in retrospect, maybe they should’ve been).
If Garrett feels that way about President Trump, his opinion on Biden would have to be unprintable! But then again, this "forceful, uncompromising outspoken person" clammed up and never did or said anything except "yes, sir!" 😠👎🏼
But, nevertheless, they are a great band, with really good songs!
