BIGGEST Storm in Years! SNOW PLOWING 30" of Snow! Blizzard of 2022 Part 1

- This past weekend we had one of the biggest storms we have ever seen in our area. Our service area received 30.9" of snow. Not only did we have the snow but we had a blizzard for close to 12 hours with close to zero visability, snowfall rates up tp 4" per hour and drifting snow with snow drifts up to 7".
This is Part 1 which features us working during the storm and into the night. We worked 30 hours straight during the storm and a total of 80 hours in the days to follow.
Part 2 will be the cleanup the following days.

This looks fun. Here in p.a. we usually get way more snow than this year...this year has been basically no winter.... Month of plowable snow so far.....you guys are getting the whole shebang

Is operating a skid steer difficult ? There's a Cat skid steer at work that I'd like to try to operate. There's 5 attachments for it, bucket, forks, brush cutter, snowblower and lot sweeper.

What's your yearly snow average?
It varies last 2 years we only had a few small storms and had 20ish inches. Most years we get 30”-40” five or take.

Something isn't right with your box plow. You should be scraping right down to pavement like the trucks are....not sure if its the angle or the box itself. Your doing twice as much work as you have to. Also, very dangerous to be plowing with your windows that fogged up. carry towels with you or something....lol... great video though....
The cutting edge needed to be adjusted, we just didn’t have time to do it in the middle of the storm. The windows were impossible to keep unfogged I’ve been plowing for a long time anyone that plows knows that you just have to deal with sometimes. The machine has a backup camera I had no problem operating the hardest part was the blowing snow.
@@crowleypoolservices LOL...not having the edge adjusted...we have all been there. Just when we thought we are 100% ready for the snow, there is always something we didn't get done. Be safe out there... and carry a damn towel for your windows....lol...
