- So, I finally got a Magnavox CDI and this game. This is the final part of the game, yes i did die before i could heal (luckily i had a extra continue) I find it amusing that this game has rarely been played yet it is mocked heavily, Its shortcomings as a game are mostly due to the CDI having only 2 buttons on the controller

Gotta love this silly game and its brethren _Link: Faces of Evil_ . I also love how the actual challange comes from the poor platform, controls and waves of average enemies than it comes from the bosses themselves.
In some ways, it kinda mirrors real life. Powerful individuals surround themselves with many loyal defenders, because they know that they are just as vulnerable as any one else.
That said, I've come across a small but dedicated community of Zelda CDi & Hotel Mario speedruners. It's pretty captivating to see them work around the limitations of these games with such professional methods.
There are so many games like this, It seems like controls were so distant on the minds of these creators!
Ok, so, THAT was the final boss?
Aren't final bosses supposed to be harder than regular enemies?
I love how the video title calls him the “boss” in quotes like that. Even they know that it basically isn’t.
The real "boss" was the platforms we tried to jump on along the way

@dsdface again the hardest part of the game is figuring out where you can actually move/jump and getting through a level without taking too much unavoidable damage

i found the cause
My television was picking it up off of my cable feed and shoving it into the AV signal somehow
hopefully future videos will not buzz like that
They forgot the number 1 rule of Zelda.

game grumps are playing this at the moment. considering how they are struggling and you still not getting all the jumps when you want to.. how could you even take it that long? xD
That's really an accomplishment! or you are just insane...
The game isn't too hard once you find the control and collision detecting limitations....
But if you expect the game to play correctly, it isn't going to be fun.

There is no reason why you should even be at the final boss. Because you wouldn't be playing it in the first place.

this was The final boss, there were other enemies, the games most difficult feature is it's awful controls and collisions, I have a more modern replay of this game linked in a comment

Zelda may not deal the final blow to final bosses, but she is crucial to the PLAYER's final blow to the final boss.
