As for the DM, or creature campaign plot point. In the view of giants, the base line of humans they run into the wilderness or coming into their strongholds to raid, are N/PC of mid to high level ability in melee & magic. So to the average giant, are all humans as skillful and murderous as the ones that hunt giants ? Honnor & glory is all fine & good, but getting your ankles savage by dwarves and humans just don't seem worth the trouble. I understand that giants raiding towns/ villages seem like a great adventure plot point. But from a giant's view, do you want a few hundred or thousand humans hunting you at once in mass ? Let alone getting your feet set on fire ? Render down pig lard was a common staple, farmers wasted nothing back in the day. 2.) DM tells the players to make Moral/wisdom roll to keep your cool, follow with a charisma roll stare down when seeing giants face to face. IF the party pass their rolls, role play the giant like you would trying to talk down a barking dog that is Way too close to you. " If I give you some food, will you leave me alone ?" b.) Protect the Dwarven Minning Outpost, adventure. The PCs are being attack by waves of 5 to 8 goblins at a time with over size heavy crossbows that take four goblins to drag jog. Survival horror of dealing with concept waves of murdering goblins. Flip it, the goblins Are the human PCs raiding a fire giant mining camp.
8 years ago, I found a first edition fiend folio while on vacation in Florida, the binding was broken so I got it for $10. I wondered at that point if anyone was doing anything along the line of monster ecologys on youtube. I found you, and I believe Esper at that time. It's amazing over the last decade how you have persisted and have grown. This is amazing, heres to another decade.
My friend, I remember telling you before how I had been hoping for more of these stories from you, and it is time for me to relay my thanks to you: You are a wonderful narrator...I am very discriminating in regards to the number of channels I watch - voice acting is common, generally overdone but occasionally fantastic, and the rest narrate or some combination thereof. You are the best narrator. The care you have for the story shines through *perfectly* and it neither becomes monotonous or boring nor overdone. I absolutely loved listening to this story, and it is not a story I would have found naturally captivating. I happily look forward to the next, and many more(!) My thanks -Eric
Perhaps the dragon is trapped or imprisoned, and an offer it presents too those characters who free it, a great gift of dragon kind that few could refuse, but releasing him will be releasing well an evil being upon the land.
Does he have a friend named King Gizzard? They could make a band and like sing in taverns together... Come to think of it... I think it's already been done
I love it! There's no huge info dump of characters and different politics. Just pure fantasy adventure. The thumbnail reminded me of the time i wanted to run Saltmarsh for some irl friends... all that politics..

Immediate idea - the water of wishes are the actually the tears of a legendarily powerful dragon - possibly currently dead, yet its yet the closed eyes of its Severed head still weep . . Also - opportunity for more that just emergency teleport contingency spell, starwhisper offers to prepare them one other contingency spell of their choice And maybe some stuff in the prepation where they have to make use of the telescope?

How about the black lotus flower 🌺, heard different lore on this flower, one of my favorites is you crush it or eat it and you regain a spell slot back. @@AJPickett Do bears use the standard damage dice for their size category? I’ve found that if you take a tiny creature and apply the attribute modifiers and increased damage dice types, you get something much more dangerous than just swapping out the stats for something of a similar size. A mole scaled up by three size categories could be much, much worse than the standard bear. The bear stat block was designed for it to be usable by Druids as a companion, so they are a little on the weak side compared to what they should be. I’m definitely stealing the molebear for the Labyrinth around the goblin city in my fae worlds. It’s a formidable opponent to the unobservant or incautious goblins who venture too close to the Bog of Eternal Stench.
I'm really curious what exactly Tastopher *expected* to happen when he opened the vial. Surely he had a very different expectation, but what exactly that was is unclear to me. 🤔

A mole scaled up by three size categories could be much, much worse than the standard bear. The bear stat block was designed for it to be usable by Druids as a companion, so they are a little on the weak side compared to what they should be.
