Out and About in the Black Hills - Jewel Cave

While spending a couple of days in the Black Hills National Forest area, we visited Jewel Cave National Monument. It is one of the many side attractions that you can visit while in the Black Hills. We do recommend getting reservations, however, to ensure that you will be able to go in as this is a popular site during the summer months. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes (no sandals, flip flops, or crocs - they will not allow you to enter), and dress for chilly weather as it is a constant 49 degrees.
