@Pixel Moshpit do you know if it's there is a way to apply uneven transparency when in your gradient colour panel? Is there a way to stack and blur transparent gradients so you get the feel of the "bleed" effect when ink concentration is disbursed by the water?
Hey! I just purchased your tools thank you! Question- I have a complex object (giant watercolour blob) I want to make look like a watercolour galaxy. So, for the galaxy effect, I'm applying a mask to the giant watercolour blob. Inside the mask I'm adding a rectangle with the multi colour mesh (since the watercolour blob is too complex to add the mesh to) and other layers of stars and such inside a mask. But I also want to give this watercolour affect! But you add the symbols inside of a mask. So, how would I go about doing two masks? Thank you so much!!!
Nice video. 2 questions... 1. I downloaded the symbol pack, but I noticed you are using more watercolor symbols in your tutorial than what was available for purchase (If I am in error, I apologize in advance) 2. I am having trouble getting the color saturation correct in comparison to your tutorial. My text looks "washed out". Any further advise? Thank you.
Hello! Just an FYI, I've downloaded your watercolor tools (thanks!), and realized you didn't embed your logo, therefore it doesnt show up on screen. Gotta promote yourself! :)
Hit pause every once in while, digest and move on. I can't please everyone's learning speed or cater to every skill level in a video, besides, it's not live television.
This comment is three years old! Can you grasp it if you re-watched it now? If anyone's in similar situation, it helps to know all the menu options in illustrator before-hand. Essentially, this video shows how to apply various layers. You've got your font outline, colour gradient, paint brush that you randomly dot, and sharpening the edges with effects. Good demo of masking elements to loosely capture the soft random gradient texture that is found in water colour painting... this process is a bit difficult to control, but if you're just going for "the look" it works good enough.
BOLOX you all show examples of texts and fonts!! Never ever do any of you trying to sell your merch put your money where your mouth is!!!!! JUST SAYING ! feel free to look me up xx
Even 6 years later.... this is a great video. Very easy to follow & the steps are clear. Love the use of the tools that usually get ignored. Thanks!

This went way too fast for me. I suppose I should learn illustrator better before watching your tutorials.
