I suspect the Tots were fine until the economy crashed. Afterward, they had to sell Donkey, the fluffy thing (its name escapes me) had to be put down, Tilly was revealed to be an illegal immigrant and sent back to France, Tom started a new life elsewhere, and Tiny somehow fell down a ravine.
I think you're spot on there, mate. I believe the fluffy thing was called 'Furryboo' and are we sure that wasn't him I found in the stable?

Don’t forget one of them died because they were drunk and died of hypothermia and died in the snow (Thant happened recently)
Furry boo was a rat apparently, I assumed he was a dog for years
Tilly may still be around, but once Brexit happens she may get deported.
So weird!! I remember all those programs - Tots TV, Rosie and Jim etc. It's so strange to think of it in this wrecked, forgotten state. It's be really cool to get some shots from the show and do a direct comparison, then and now style!
SMcG Guy Yep, all of them were great shows haha. I was planning on doing some comparisons like that for this video but I didn't know where I stood when it came to copyright on those clips so I played it safe :( Would still love to do it though so maybe I can find out.

A few years after the show would have finished, an estate agent arrives and tells the Tots that they can't afford to live at the house anymore so the Tots are forced to go their separate ways. We fast forward to 2017, Tilly is a French and Music teacher at a secondary school, Tom is a lawyer and Tiny works as a cleaner. They haven't spoken to each other since they were thrown out of the house. One day, Tom's car breaks down near where the house is. Assuming that someone else lives there, he walks to it to see if they have a telephone but is shocked to see it is in the state is in now. Tom eventually makes contact with Tilly & Tiny, asking them to help him refurbish the house out because secretly, they have missed it very much. The estate agent is uninterested in repairing such an old house and the nearby farmer doesn't want any more trespassers on what is now his property. The Tots also finally meet Furryboo and the four of them have to work together to help bring their old home back to former glory but the one other thing standing in their way is they still want to keep themselves and the house a complete secret.

I have read that donkeys can live for up to 30 years so I guess it would be possible for him to be in it somehow.
Found this in my recommendations and found it fascinating. Only vaguely familiar with this show but I’m surprised something like this is in such a terrible shape. You would think it’d be repurposed or at least still maintained. Dear Lord this must be a gutpunch for so many people

@@LostWithLou yo also when teletubbies ended ragdoll and the farmers wasn’t gonna demolish the place they just left it there to rot like the tots tv house but people keep coming to see it and the farmers got sick of it so they called ragdoll to demolish it then got the left over dirt to fill the big hole and made a little hole for the pond

I grew up In the 90's-early 00's and Ragdoll productions made many of my favourite shows including Rosie and Jim, Tots TV and my favourite Teletubbies, sadly I know that the Teletubbies set has now been flooded and sadly I fear that Tots TV will follow suit ☹, please tell me that Rosie and Jim and John are still chugging along on the old Ragdoll and that isn't at the bottom of the Atlantic with the Titanic
Gary Brown I feel the same way man, it’s a sad sight. I really hope Rosie and Jim are still about haha, I think we should just believe that they are out there somewhere anyway, to put our minds at ease.

Of course Rosie and Jim are still around, I have loads of their dolls and some wooden ducks, and yes Fizzgog is still around too.
Agreed, really really sad that this place has been abandoned. Nice to see that people have seemed to have left flowers there, so that's something.

Went there today with a couple of friends and was chased out and threatened by the farmers in the area . Apparently more and more vandalism is happening as the site is becoming more on top. Shame really as it spoils it for the genuine people who are interested!
RETNERS 89 Yes, it's a massive shame. I'm glad that I managed to get there sort of in time. I can't imagine what it looks like now, probably a lot worse than how it looked in this video. I still don't see why you would want to vandalise this place, it's just not worth it and it's not going to achieve anything other than destroy a little piece of people's childhoods. Also, like you said, it is ruining it for explorers as it's probably almost not worth going if it's got that bad. Sorry to hear that you couldn't get in though, I hope you didn't travel far for it.
Lost With Lou we traveled from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire so about 25/30 miles, we was literally just about to go inside the overgrowth where the house sits when the farmer came racing down in a Subaru followed by a Land Rover, they threatened to let the dogs out of the vehicles and call the police if we didn't leave. I explained that are intentions was to only have a look at the house and take a couple of pictures but they said they are fed up of people vandalising it and trespassing, they did thank us for being polite and not verbally abusing them like most people do when caught. Wish there was a way they would let us in even just for ten minutes so we could take some pictures . Did you go on your own ?
RETNERS 89 That really sucks. I can understand why they're being so protective of it. Would have been cool if they escorted you to it and watched as you took some pics at least. I came with one of my friends as part of a road trip. I think I was really lucky to get in because I have heard a lot of stories similar to yours recently. It's a real shame that explorers such as yourself are missing out on this because of a bunch of scumbags. I'm really worried that the farmers might decide that it's too much hassle and just tear the place down so that people don't go there anymore.

RETNERS 89 Chernobyl! It's a bit cliche but I might have a chance of going there later on this year so that might be cool. On more local terms there's a big theatre I've been trying to get into for ages that I'm pretty excited for. What about you?
Blimey that abandonation of what was a famously loved TV program of the 90's generation to this day has been left to wreck and ruin. So sad!
James F This was one of my favourites back in the day so it was so sad to see. Not quite sure what people achieve from vandalising it... they went well out of their way to do it as well.
Somebody without an ounce of decency would do that. This was once a tranquil childhood dreams now left to broken dreams. The TV programs of today's generation can never beat the originals in my opinion.
James F Can't disagree with that. Now it's all just bad animations! I think the reason that this place has become a hot spot for vandals is because there's a video added recently that shows where it is on the map so people have been going there. Something I'll never do, especially now that I've seen the consequences
This is an incredibly bleak sight to behold. It's almost as if Tilly, Tom and Tiny had either been forced to leave in a hurry or they died. I'm not gonna lie, mate, I found the bit where you explored the house unnerving. It was as if one of the Tots or a rabid Furryboo was going to jump out at you. Great video!

They're not always told at the end of filming if a new series has been commissioned which is probably why it's still there. Had they known it has come to an end they would have probably demolished the house. The house would have been used for filming all the house location shots for the whole series a few weeks a year.
The teletubbies set was a secret location at the time which might be why it was near the Tots TV house, both were produced by Ragdoll Productions so it would be expected that TV crews would be there and it wouldn't arrouse suspicion that it was the Teletubbies set.
mseven1 I like the theory on why the teletubbies set is located there, sounds pretty believable.
For some reason I think the farmers that own it now want to keep the house intact as they are preventing people from going there now so that it doesn't get damaged further. I'm glad that it wasn't demolished though, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the place.
It's heartbreaking to see this video, posted only a month after others and yet so much has been destroyed :( The front door missing, the glass broken etc...

iammadaboutdogs was just about to say the same, honestly whoever took down the iconic red door and broke the glass should be ashamed. Crushed childhood memories ;; front of the blue staircase has been torn down too 😭 just makes me wanna go there and rebuild it all.
KpopGeekGirl So many people on here feel this way about it, it's so sad to see. I often think about making a replica of the door and going to fit it on the house but I think it would be classed as vandalism and probably wouldn't stay on there for long anyway. It's cool to see that others have similar thoughts to me!
I've just noticed the door missing too! Idk how they've even managed to carry it though the woods as I bet it weighed a ton! Bet it's just been dumped in the woods somewhere it's so sad to see that vandals have been in! :(

Any right person could recycle and turn that cottage into a proper home. Or might have it smashed and torn down by vandals, such as what happened to Dunblobbin (Mr Blobby's house). I'd prefer the former, at least that would make a great home for those who are homeless.
Pokemon Champion Cynthia I was thinking the same thing. It’s only very small but to someone that doesn’t have much, that would be amazing to them. The location is just not very convenient so that might be a reason why it was abandoned. Still, the landowner could have done so much more with this, it’s just been wasted.

So they keep this rekt place up, and replace the teletubbies set in GOOD condition with a pond
iZeo yeah, this place hasn't been wrecked for long, it's only because it's a bit of a hot spot at the moment that vandals are going here. All I know about the teletubbies set is that the farmers only let them use the land if they restored it back to nature after so they had no choice. I guess the condition was good because they did this right after they finished filming? I don't know haha
I went here a few months ago an all was fine. The door was still there, things hadn't been smashed in, and it was all perfectly untouched. It's all about timing really.

Sad to see this place has really deteriorated over the course of a year.. iconic front door is now missing, stair banister is broken, window smashed, to name a few. Shame. That's the cost I guess when a place gets found out. Is the Teletubby house still there, just flooded over or did they remove entirely?
They got rid of it entirely, leaving nothing but a grassy slope on the farm. However, Teletubbies fans kept trespassing on the hill until owner Rosemary Harding decided that enough was enough and turned the slope into a pond.

This Is What Happend To the teletubbie house The rounded green hills that the Teletubbies called home were actually part of a farm in Wimpstone, Warwickshire. When filming finished in 2001, the owner of the land was so sick of Teletubby fans trespassing on it that she flooded it and turned it into a Pond And Good Video!
Teletubbies freaked me out as a child and still send shivers down my spine. That was just a creepy show.

I was born 00. I don't know why UK did this but old shows where still being aired until around 09. Point is, I remember this. And like you 90's kids I feel this nostalgia for tots and shows like it. Good shows in my time too. It's a shame new shows mostly have to be so crap. This is very cool. Wouldn't imagine his house being a real location

I haven’t seen any of the newer kids tv shows but judging by some of the comments on here, they aren’t as good as the old ones. The small amount I have seen has just been animations, I believe that Teletubbies has been rebooted but it’s fully 3D animation now?
I loved Tots Tv as a kid, I heard about the original set still standing today, also it was film right next door to the Teletubbies in Warwickshire

The tots tv house was burned, and tubyland is still there , it’s just flooded so if you brought scuba gear or something you would be able to see the teletubies house

Lost With Lou to be honest I never thought about the house that they filmed in. I used to watch the show with my Nan when I was a kid. It's strange when I see it like this and compare it with footage from the show.
Yes! I live in the south west of the UK and there aren't many abandoned places here but I have explored a since renovated carpet factory, an amazing train station which was in Texas and there is a nice old hotel near me that we haven't been able to get into so far. It's been empty for years. I've not been urban exploring long but I love it! I want to explore more but finding them is a challenge. We almost got into an abandoned and due to be knocked down leisure centre last year in Bedford but the person who let us in (it was fenced in along with an allotment) was only tending his allotment plot for a short time so we didn't get far. So annoying because there was a way to get in via the swimming pool room. If you have any exploring tips, I would really appreciate it.

Silvolf Sounds like you've done some good ones, the station in Texas must have been great! I don't really have any good tips that you haven't heard before, I have had to give up on so many places myself because I couldn't find a way in or got seen. All I can say is stay safe and enjoy!

We're going back to the hotel at some point, it's secluded around the front and other people have been in and filmed it so we might have another go. Ah I know that feeling, glad I'm not the only one! one of the places I need to visit on a trip to the UK is the teletubbies set, even though it's sad it's a pond I do believe that it would of flooded naturally and the house and other parts would of been demolished anyway, I heard they had problems with that during filming during a rainstorm apparently. well maybe if time travel is invented we could go back and get video

Lost With Lou I know it would of looked like a horror film set, the house and little surrounding area was Astro turf so after 11or so years a majority of it would of rotted away, and the grass would of stayed unkept due to the owners distain of it and since Ragdoll paid to have the set taken down and turned into a pond, it would of stayed just like the Tots TV housr

Oh wow this really takes me back. I think I still have one of the flannels. Its always said to come back to those memories and seeing it in such a state like that.
I kinda hope a horror game is based on this? This sort of gives me the chills.. I know its a lot of people's childhoods but all I can think about is all the creepy story scenarios that could be based on this place.

Imogen Dustin Sorry, I couldn't tell you how the rabbit died, it looked a little bloody, perhaps it was a fox or something? A friend of mine went here last weekend, he said that not much has changed since I went so I think the vandalism is dying down on this place now which is good, but it doesn't undo what's already been done 😢
Awww! :( & yeah i know its so sad! :( ive no idea how or why anyone would take a door! unless it was the farmer to stop people going or something? as the door is iconic to the show! he did say to someone that a man was living there or something in someones vid last week! also someone would have to be crazy carrying a door over the field!
Imogen Dustin Woah that's crazy! I didn't hear about anyone living there haha. I doubt that they removed the door themselves because it created a way for people to get inside. I still think it's sitting in someone's house as memorabilia, but we will never know for sure which is sad

It's so weird seeing this, I was already to old when this show was on but I would sometimes put it on for a drunk watch with a friend make up how donkey would escape and rampage through the local town.
Seeing this it's like something symbolic, like the inevitable fate of childhood innocence over time

Chris Hillmon I know right!? I didn't even think about it until I watched my footage back. It must have gone recently because I've seen videos uploaded a month ago with the door still there. There was no sign of it in the surrounding area either. I'm tempted to go back and find it

I was born in 1989 and I remember having a Tots TV VHS.
Since nobody seems to own it and it’s abandoned it would make an awesome restoration project for someone.

This was very interesting, I only remember Tots TV or Tots Video ABC on VHS, I had no idea that the house was still standing, but for the Teletubbies set was heart breaking because what I heard it was still up with the windmill fallen down and a loving home for loads of rabbits, but seeing it as a pound was sad, I always like to know what it looked in the inside. If there was one place that I would like to see if it's still around, it would be the old Ragdoll boat from Rosie & Jim.
joesSONICBOOM Ahhh VHS! Those were the good old days, I used to watch the same episodes over and over again on those things and somehow never got bored of them. Yeah the teletubbies set is a sad sight but at least it’s not being vandalised. I would have loved to see the inside of it as well. I am interested to find out of that boat is still in existence 🤔
I still collect and watch VHS, I would like to see the old Ragdoll boat, if it's still around, I know it was on display at one point according to a wiki page, seeing the ship again recently on the Rosie & Jim volume 1 video was a blast from the past and me wanting to see the boat in modern day.
Oh man, shouting "PARDON?!" whenever someone is being noisy is still an in-joke in our household. (From the aeroplane/hangar episode) It's sad but still really cool to see what became of these places.

Traci Adi I don't think that they tried to sell it, it was built on the farmers land and after they finished filming it just became his. I think it was built specially for Tots TV as well. It's a little bit too small to be a real house unfortunately

Clover Pittilla I have no idea. There was a gap under the stable where it had obviously been coming in and out of so I think it lived in there. Perhaps it was a fox? Vandals had been going here before I visited too so maybe they did it, can't imagine anyone would be that cruel though.
Oh no I did not notice a poor rabbit, I love animals, I don't want anything bad to happen.
I didn't notice the blood fortunately but the poor rabbit. Hopefully it just passed away naturally through old age. Rabbits have to be very careful if they live near farms though.
Maybe it drank stagnant water from the house, so dangerous to leave a place like that and it's a fire and drowning hazard, not good.

It's so sad to see these sets from old shows abandoned or destroyed. I was born in 2009 but I can still relate to how sad this is though.
I consider Teletubbies an early 2000's show. I was in fifth grade in 99-2000 and too old to get into it when I started seeing it on TV. I remember it ran longer into the 2ks.

This place remains my childhood T.T... I really loved the show not only for being so distracting and education stuff, but also tourism... Showing the places all across UK :). Despite being non-native English speaker, back in 1999 or 2000, this Kid TV show was boradcasted in South America in Discovery Kids... I remember this so much :)... ThNk you for making the little trip :)

Sasha Jackson The vandalism really has ruined it for everyone. The farmers are now keeping their eyes on it and stopping anyone from going there so even if you knew where it was, the chances of you actually getting to it are really low 😞 I was so lucky to get there when I did, if I left it any later I probably wouldn't have been able to make this video :(

This would be a cool idea for a horror movie. The Tots could still be living in the basement of the dilapidated house, but become feral and cannibalistic after their show was cancelled.

Aw I used to love rag doll products, I used to watch them in nursery on vhs tapes. Tots tv and Rosie and Jim were always a favourite, although I think secretly that in the back of my head I just thought they were creepy..
Although I’m actually also the right age to also remember the teletubbies and in the night garden, not the same as tots tv but were certainly one I watch religiously as a kid.

Lost With Lou the new show is mainly cgi...the set isnt a actual set..its all with help of computer generated..plus some actual props.the set is minature..but blown up with cgi..but the new show is decent. not better than the original tho.

They got rid of the Teletubbies house because people kept coming to the house and the land owner was fed up. I'm glad they didn't just leave it there to rot and instead replaced it with something nice.
I would use a remote control submarine with a camera, to check the Teletubbies set.

lee castle Sorry about your childhood! haha, I have some good memories of this house too, it's a real shame but I'm glad that I got to see it for real. I don't think that they will demolish this, probably more hassle than it's worth for the farmer that owns the land. He has had an issue with vandals recently though as you probably saw the state of the place, a couple of months ago it wasn't this bad at all.
