Not a big fan of trick taking games, but wanted to make a comment on the video. The camera looks really nice and the setup outside is really nice. Think you guys did a good job of getting the light right and the environmental sounds down. Look forward to more setups from outside.
I don't understand there not being a trump card. So you have to follow color if possible, but regardless the highest card number (1-9) takes the trick?
As a left handed person, I have to say that the game not being "left handed friendly" isn't nearly as big of an issue as you're making it out to be. If I had to guess, I'd say that 85-90% of typical playing cards only have the printing in two of the corners, so any left handed person who plays cards on a regular basis has learned to adapt. I can fan standard playing cards in my left hand with absolutely no problem.
It's funny Tom mentions the cards are not lefties-friendly, because my mother's problem with Dice Tower Essential Sheriff of Nottingham were that the costs were only in wrong corner for righties.
Thanks for taking the time to review.
"Coup de Tot", A game where you're cooperative group of todlers try to overthrow a daycare and get all the cookies from the cookie jar.
Has there ever been a top 10 trick taking list? That will be stellar as someone who loves trick taking games.
There was today! 3 Years later!

They aren't outside - it's a sun room.
I'd REALLY like to see a top 10 trick-taking games.
Jeff Hayward : They actually did that on the podcast a month or so ago. Of course, that didn't include Sam and Zee.
Thanks, Steve! Yes, I found that shortly after posting. Great interview with Sara Erickson on that one as well!
They just published one today, 3 years later
I have the original Dragon Master because the artwork is beautiful!
Probably will pick it up to save wear and tear on the old one.
I have Dragon Master too and the art is bad ass.
Great voice Sam! Awesome reviews
I want to see a Top 10 Sam Outro video, this one probably ranks somewhere in the top 3
I'm with Sam when it comes to the way I fan my cards. Even when they are upside-down friendly, I still put them on their "right side".

godzilla614UT no, if you can't follow suit then you lose regardless of the number value.
Do you know when this game is scheduled to be available for sale?
It is releasing GenCon in August, so I assume it will hit retailers around then.

Excellent singing voice Sam. 2 "95 Theses" up!

Coup de tot - A game to see who ends up with all the tater tots.
Not a big fan of trick taking games without a trump, but it looks like a good intro game for mixed groups.
really, tom? you didnt give it 2 shots to the moon up? tsk tsk tsk
Delayed first
there's no Trump in the game? Or no trump? or none of the two?
I'm tired, sorry...
There are no orange cards, hence no way to have Trump.
