Love the eye level experience. I travelled this road hundreds of times when I was much younger. From northern Ghana to the coast through Aflao/Sogakope, Togo/Bénin, and finally Seme/Badagry into Lagos, Nigeria. On Peugeot 504 cars. Not much has changed which is great.

A travers elle j'ai découvert une partie de la culture Béninoise, n'ayant pas encore eu la chance de voyager dans cette partie du Bénin. Vraiment merci pour tout le travail abattu. Cela demande beaucoup d'efforts et de sacrifices.

Now, this makes me want to visit Togo again. I have only driven past it on my way to Ghana 20 years ago, we stopped in Lome for coconut water and a bite driving from Lagos, Nigeria

Sincèrement, j'ai été surpris de vous voir apprécier le plat national de la Côte d'Ivoire qu'est l'attiéké et l'accent togolais et béninois que vous avez parfaitement adopté. Quant à l'itinéraire Sanvé-condji-Kévé-Kpalimé que vous avez emprunté, j'avoue que c'est tout nouveau pour moi, puisque je passe toujours par Aného et Lomé quand je rentre en Côte d'Ivoire. Oui j'ai choisi cet itinéraire car que je connaissais la route principale déjà et j'avais envie de dévouverte et de nouveauté. Je vous conseille réellement un arrêt à Aneho, c'est un endroit qui vaut vraiment la peine d'être vu !

Some advice, how do you beware from malaria in West Africa generaly?
I wear socks and trousers, maybe the most important protection outside early morning, sunset and night .... and try to cope with the different crisis I have.
I always have malaria tabs with me in case of a crisis.

I chose Kpalimé, for several reason : first i know very well all the sea side, i have been their many times, and i didn't want to enjoy some places I already know very well.
second reason, is that i wanted to show the hills and the other part of Togo, with some nice views and water falls. You will discover that.
third reason, I wanted to drive some dirt road for some day trip, like this video....
hey Ludo, you did great and i have been to those countries and also speak their languages coz i was born in Benin Republic and their language is very similar to that of Lome. If i may ask, where are you from? I enjoyed the bike journey experience. Kudos

il fait chaud en moyenne 30 à 35 degré pour chacune des videos de ce trip. la seule journée où j'ai eu froid, c'est durant cette video, tu comprendras pourquoi... les températures étaient descendues a 20 degrés a peine...

How does the road network in Benin Republic and Togo compare to Nigeria ?
I would say that it is better in Benin and Togo, for many part. but i don t know all the roads of Naija
J'ai l'impression qu'il fait très chaud avant la pluie, le prix du carburant fait aussi rêver si je ne me trompe, ça m'a l'air bien différent du Bénin mais aussi charmant la pluie et la nuit faussent un peu mais c'est très bien
oui avant la pluie il faisait extremement chaud, pas loin de 40 je dirai.
