- In this episode, I am riding towards the border of Sierra Leone and Liberia. I need to look again for a mechanic that can work on my motorcycle, so I decided to go to the capital of Liberia: Monrovia. On the way to Monrovia, the problems however, stack up and my motorcycle doesn't want to start anymore...

Indeed... I want to drag the days to Sunday's next episode 😂
YES, INDEED!
If I wasn't a long-time watcher, I'd think it was a scripted move by a typical T.V. producer. Perfectly timed.
Exactly my thoughts... this lady knows how to produce great content :-)
😮
I love that you don’t sugar coat things and show the good and bad, I feel like a lot of travelers only show the bad and I hate that. I think you do not understand the magnitude of your work!... keep us all dreaming to be where you are, have the courage to drive where you are driving!, and project this positive loving human kind attitude!... we all appreciate you!
No one could have said that any better Diane. Thank you.😇
I think and really do hope she understands the magnitude of her work. She does a lot of good, surely she sees that.
Here's a quote I found online referring to Dutch people, "They do not draw attention to themselves and do not value the accouterments of success highly prized by other western societies.
They dislike displays of wealth, as they run counter to their egalitarian beliefs.
They do not boast about their accomplishments or their material possessions."

I'm from West Africa, precisely from Guinea-Bissau and I live here in Bissau, after having seen your video that you made in our country in Bissau, I decided to take my time and watch all your videos from this season 7 Africa, but my conclusion with your good interaction with people from all the countries you've been to, comes from your good way of being, your are friendly and respectful, keep it up and everything will be fine. Dear visitors of this channel, I assure you that West Africa has a very generous and kind people, maybe we are poor, but kind.
That gas station scene was so wholesome, reminded me of moments when I was kid when a friend would show you some new cool toy they got lol
😂😂 the look on their face when she said 10000km

Cliffhanger. Will Noraly get her motorcycle to start? Will she make it to Monrovia? Or, will she find love at the check point? Tune in next episode to learn Noraly's fate.
TEE HEE!!!
im not gay (i think) but.. that officer sure was a smokeshow!
Very funny!
I was more worried about hearing "I love you" from a stranger than her bike starting or not 😭 but your comment made me laugh 😂
LOL...that was funny...
But I do hope Alaska is ok..poor girl...she's been through a lot
The gas station scene in Sierra Leone is an instant classic. I was as if you had dropped in from Mars. All the way from Holland on that little bike with all your gadgets. Cinema verite
As a biker i can only but admire your courage. This is Amazing.
4:39 "Woman don't give me trouble - just give me my money and I'll leave you alone"😂😂
Best fuel stop ever! Giving the woman the money amongst all the men was the best! The woman walked away so proud! And you were so happy you gave her the money! The men laughed knowing what was going on! We can tell you are stopping more to let Alaska cool down! Now you have left us in total intrigue! 🙂

Safe driver
Well said....not to mention that woman had been watching the scene and timed her request to Noraly perfectly. Smart woman.
How rude that lady was though
But she said the biggest note was a dollar equivalent!
It's amazing the beating Alaska has taken....I hope she's ok!!!
Alaska is fixable. If Alaska ever gets to the point she is not fixable, Alaska has lived a life CRF300 Rallys never even dream of living.
@@jerrym3261 … and, as well, Noraly has lived a life and seen parts of the world most of us can only dream about (or watch her videos)! Lol…. You did indeed make a great point!

Thank you for visiting my home, Sierra Leone 🇸🇱. I upload videos showcasing it 🇸🇱 and you are adding light to it. Much love ❤️
very nice country!
Lisa & I feel so blessed to come across your channel. We are so proud of you and the interaction you have with the people you meet. Once in Luzon PI my buddy and I got lost with the Jeep in new a people’s army territory. We ran across a older man carrying wood stacked really tall on his back. He said is was dangerous there and we should go to his village. We gave him a ride home many miles away. The whole village told us to stay so we did and slept in a grass hut but kept hearing people moving around outside. The next morning we woke to find the whole village cooking some pigs for a party for us bringing their elder home. These people had very little yet gave us so much. As we left in the morning after we all ate they all ran after us. John and I went to a market to buy them 5 new pigs and supplies and again went to the village to give all and more back to them. To see their smiles and feel their gratitude make us all happy. Everyplace we went around the world the poorest people were the best, the kindness, the things they taught us and how happy and proud they were. Best days of my life. 👍 keep up the good work.
This made me soo happy
😂😂😂! This story made me tear up in laughter! Brilliant 👏🏾👏🏾
I am happy that I found such a channel on UA-cam, I can travel the whole world with such a brave woman
It's so much fun to ride in these kinds of countries. You feel like a rockstar just putting on petrol. But they're always respectful and nice, and love when you chat with them... ❤
I am from South Africa and I have major respect for this Noraly!!!! She is so brave
South Africa is more scary than Sierra Leone. SL is one of the safest countries in Africa while SA is one of the most violent and dangerous IN THE WORLD. 😊
She'd get robbed quick in SA. Real ones know
She has been here and nothing of that sort happened.
@@kgtsimane Stop talking shit, you see where she's at, you think SA is like this. You like talking shit about SA
Her personality is amazing….thats why she travels well…..😊
Wow! The look of amazement of that young guys face in the Petrol station was priceless 👍
Brilliant lol 😮
The largest Ebola outbreak ever recorded was in Guinea-Sierra Leone-Liberia in 2014/15. That region has been through a lot, like you said, but good to see the people are as resilient as ever and bouncing back from those challenges. Beautiful part of the world!
NICE immigration officers I will put that country on my list. Everyone being nice to you. Its the fancy bike and the gear on the young woman. A rare scene even for me! Wish I could do the same. It feels like am riding on the bike too. I suppose that's the whole point for viewers we are travelling with you. This is my first time on your channel and am loving it. I love African village life. Its hambling and therapeutic.
Oh no, what a cliffhanger! That was a lot of puddle dodging. You never disappoint, Itch. Such an adventure artist.
Wow! The gasoline pump crowd was really amazed about your travels! The people are so genuine, yet so depressed by the labor situation and disease. Another country entered and I hope Alaska started again soon! Thanks for another day in your adventure! Ride safe Noraly!
Did you see the guy in the background? Crutches & one leg.
@@savage22bolt32 ….. yes! And then the lady must have asked for her change from buying the gas….
It's a little surprising that the gas pump guy just casually holding big wads of cash. Do robberies not happen there or the money is not worth much that they don't even try?
Never mind. Lol. Just read the title of the video. That answered my question

You are so awesome, I can't believe how you can manage to blend in with everyone you are meeting on your way.
You are Something special Itchy
Noraly, I love your videos and the attention you have brought, (in a good way,) not only for motorcyclist worldwide, but especially to duel sport riding. The history that you share is priceless. I have ridden most of my life and am as close to three quarters of a century in age as you can get without being there. Recently I watched the ABR 2023 videos. You were amazing! The way you conduct yourself is a talent many of us could learn from. The world is always looking for someone they can look up to as an example and you have fulfilled this many times over. You are not only a skilled rider, but a very classy lady. I wish you the very best and look forward to every adventure you share with your Internet family. May God continue to watch over you and bless you!
Thank you for your comment here. I fully agree with you. And, I am also a person nearing the mid 70 and still keep riding a motorcycle.

Thanks for the video, I got to see Serra Leone. My friend is from SL, met him in my country at an internship in Pakistan. He went back home, I do miss hanging out with him though. Great guy. Intelligent guy, a good and hardworking student. My professor still compliments about the research and write-up he did.
What a cliffhanger, a guy that loves her and a bike that doesn't start somewhere in the middle of nowhere 😅

Unbelievable and amazing video today😍. Your friendly approach with locals and let them know how many kilometers you have traveled. They got so amazed. That's the same way for us. We are so impressed with your adventures. Thank you Noraly.
"I love you" killed the bike😂😅😂
I see you now as an Ambassador of Africa. We may be decades behind the western world in terms of education and technology but Africa so far has shown how kind nd generous we are as a people.
Gosh, what a cliffhanger! Great episode Noraly, especially the enthusiastic interactions at the fuel station. Beautiful, peaceful countryside - quite enticing!
PS: Enjoyed your informative ABR festival talk. Have SOOO much more respect for your hard work now. Really appreciated today's video as a result. Kudos Noraly.

the people who she meets is amazing
Motorbikes are used commercially in most African countries and risers are always men, that is why they are shocked with the lady Rider and more so the distance she has done.

I think you have understood everything about the African mentality. When I saw you surrounded by this large number of young men, and you showed no signs of nervousness when other Europeans would be put on alert, then I tip my hat to your calm. and your intelligence. Congratulations.
😍😍😍😍😍 from Morocco.
Who says?
The people in Sierra Leone are friendly , peaceful and mostly love strangers
She is incredibly warm. They were intrigued by her not wanting to cause harm
Coming from an Arab and knowing things you do in Europe to European women, I would argue she would be more scared if surrounded by you people, Sub-Saharan africans are different in my opinion.

Beautifull video with very very good interactions with the local people👍👍and what a nice people in Sierra Leone and Liberia 👍👍
You got a crowd at the petrol station!
I once drove to very East part of Sierra Leone and near Liberia. Amazing place. Best wishes!
What I Love about these vlogs, is that they show a different side of Africa, and other lands that have people of color. I haven't seen most of the 600 plus episodes but she wasn't abused by the locals anywhere she visted. She was more of a curiosity than anything! No local tried to put her in pot and cook her, or tried to run off with her. People tend to be the same whereever you go. Diffrent customs, languages, and foods, but all just people trying to get by day, by day. I am glad she takes these trips, it shows that the world is not so scary, and evil after all. This is the same message I have had for my friends and family for sometime now in my far less exciting, and vastly more comfortable travels.
Immigration officer: “How many countries are you travelling to?”
Noraly: “All of them!” 😊
American border patrol: "Who sent you here". George Soros.

Noo, now I have to wait till sunday to see how this ends!! Good to keep in mind that she uploaded this episode, so it probably all went well. 😁

You are very intelligent, hard-working, and smart. May you rise to the top of your career! Well done wonder women.
I love the look of awe on the faces of the men. And I like that they were friendly and respectful. As a West African who once did a road trip from Lagos, Nigeria to Accra Ghana I know how challenging it is to travel these parts. Kudos Noraly. One day I hope to return to the continent and try get further west to Senegal , and maybe even drive further North.
I imagine getting out of Lagos in one piece was the hardest part.
Respectful friendliness is pretty much in the DNA of West African people. There are exceptions of course but in general this is one part of the world where you really can learn good manners.
