Awesome work you have inspired me to try. One question though. How does the lost wood from each saw cut when you dismantle the original blocked out version not throw off your reference points?

Watch a channel called woodworking tools and how they do it, its mental!
Great looking job you did but left hand handrail didn't seem to be solid but was maybe just the way it looked on video.

I can answer that! The 1/8" kerf width will probably have little impact on the alignments. You can get away with 1/4" of misalignment with your spindles, especially if they are profiled and not straight/square profiles.
