It was a great surprise when she performed this at the Vegas concert. She said she had a surprise. We didn’t know it meant a new song. She said she wrote it “not too long ago” and that it’s her identity.
I’m hoping she officially releases it someday. It’s a very important song for her.
*Why Angelina always performs barefoot* and why she titled this song "Princess of Ruins"
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina tells a little lie, saying her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina never learned the orphan's name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, "princesses live in castles, we live in ruins". Angelina titled her song about this story, "Princess of Ruins".
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. When Angelina debuted "Princess of Ruins" in Las Vegas, her family was dancing. This is a song of celebration, as both girls benefitted from their chance meeting.

While chatting with the little girl to whom she gave her shoes, 6-year-old Angelina told the girl that she was going to call her “Princess”, to which the girl responded that they didn’t have a castle, but that they lived in ruins. Twelve years later, Angelina still remembers the experience and honours, in this utterly beautiful song, her “Princess of Ruins”. Amazing, the song is very sweet and she is absolutely natural and humble in remembering what commitments are obligatory for her, the lyrics are so personal and emotional, full of humanity and care for others! A 6 year old girl had made a promise from her heart and that same little girl after 12 years reiterates and confirms that promise for the future... She is incredibly tender, sensitive and coherent, all this is truly part of her and her wonderful development, also thanks to the respect and love he receives from her wonderful family.💛🧡❤

That would have seemed to be unlikely as having an audience member well under 21 was running the risk of The Hotel Café getting slapped with a fine. The Hotel Café plainly states upfront that one is to leave one's under 21 children at home and to get a babysitter, if necessary
