      Also it's not 1956 that they are celebrating. This is the 20th anniversary of April 4th 1945 when the soviets drove out all the german troops from the country. It was a national holiday until 1989. You coulnd't celebrate October 23rd 1956 because it was viewed (by the ruling party) as a counter revolution
