Best bit for me is Denzil's reaction when Del says about the house Brendan did up in King's Avenue. 'Mind you, I only saw it after the fire.' And then, he finds out there was a CORONER involved!
To answer your question Del was put in charge of organising the catering at their wedding. But at the last minute all the food; lobsters, the wedding cake and all the rest that was to be served was ruined due to poor storage. So he compensated by serving pie and chips. Coreen even brings up the how she has the wedding album to always remind her “How many wedding photos have you seen of the bride and groom cutting in to a jam sponge?”
Rory McKernan While he did move later he still knew them from school I think he said he met them when they were 14 so he should still have known that Del was never a painter and decorator. Plus it’s Del He should know he’s lying.
This was before it was retconned and everyone knew each other as kids. When he Episodes were increased to an hour backstories for all the recurring characters were changed and suddenly they were all school mates. Rodney doesn't know Trigger in the first episode either and being a close friend of Del's since school, he really should.
Just noticed the clock at 1.54 is the same one Del wears in one of the last episodes when Raquel is painting her nails and he’s waiting to do down the pub.
A black mate of mine got me into red stripe, 6 of them and I’m away. He also introduced to me to Nigerian export Guineas which is Guineas but like 7% and comes in a bottle, that’s serious shit the real deal
Did you hear about that house he did up in where was it Kings Avenue, He made a blinding job of it so i hear "mind you I only saw it after the fire" that with Denzil spraying beer out of his mouth is hilarious!!!! ❤Only Fool's and Horses😂
Not only that (assuming thats true) this was long before all the wollys got offended about everything so people could make jokes about country stereotypes
Brits callimg the Irish drunks. I know it is usually banter, but I have been to Britain, and live in Ireland: usually English are at the pubs all day. Irish drink a lot when there but we get home after 5 hours
Patrick "Paul" Barber. He played Horse, in a film, called The Full Monty, about unemployed steel workers, who became male strippers, and it was filmed in Sheffield.
Denzil moments ❤️great times
The very best of British television! I wish they made shows like this still.
Richy Moto
Impossible coz it was that era of time.
There will never be a show as good as this again !
It's impossible
Let's be honest, the acting was not great and the jokes repeated in almost every episode.
Nowhere near what you could class as the "best".
I will never tire of watching this show, don’t make em like this anymore.

David Jason is 80 now! Wow time waits for no man.
the good old days....mid 80s del boy at his finest...
£100 up front we supply the paint and that's extra. Done you will be. :D

Actually Del Boy mentions his fridge went up the wall a few days before Denzil and Corrine's special day
There's a touch of Yootha Joyce about Corrine, in her voice and mannerisms
what is off about this episode is that Denzil knew Del from school..so he must have known The Trotters were never in the painting and decorating game.
Denzil didn’t meet any of them, till much later.
I assume Del’s mum had died before Denzil came to Peckham and his dad had left before Denzil met Del.
Rory McKernan

Denzil was not in so many episodes of only fools and horses
Vlane Tepish I agree. But Del is very good at manipulating people.

Just going round UA-cam watching few minute clips of this is still some of the best entertainment today.
I always loved del boys face from 2.14, like it was too easy to seal the deal then haha, brilliant.
Denzil sounded like an old tv that lost its signal at 0:39.
1980s del boy.. brilliant..😆
Tucked his mate up good and proper
Red stripe.. proper beer of the 80’s🍺🍺
My late dads favourite🍺🍺
Still drinking it now in 2018.
harvey halloway and me in 2019
David Jason is now 80! Wow where has all that time gone?
@@harveyhalloway top beer still,🍺🍺
Just noticed the clock at 1.54 is the same one Del wears in one of the last episodes when Raquel is painting her nails and he’s waiting to do down the pub.
Nice spotting
We supply the paint and you pay extra haha love it
mirror man done!! And you will be 🤣
I love Denzil, he reminds me of me SOMEHOW 😳😂 I WISH thru had Denzil in MORE episodes 😇
Great British actors and great series.
How has this been disliked? By five weirdos yes but that's five too many. Report to Broadmoor weirdos.
+John Stills The Irishman must have decorated their houses
Del ran into one of them in Friday the 14th.
27 now
maybe they sensed some racism. black guy portrayed as easily manipulated dumb fool 😶
They've been watching that great stalwart of British comedy...Mrs Browns Boys!
I only saw it after the fire 😂😂😂😂😂
Love it. 😂
Funny thing is that living room actually looks pretty decent even by today's standards
What? It looks a dump. 😅
This still makes me laugh XD
Lovely Jubbly 😂
I actually think the room looks good as it is.
Who's wrapping who around their little finger :)
I can hear a bit of Teesside in denzils voice. Looked him up and found out his mum was from Middlesbrough.
He is from Mars.. 👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
No, Denzil is from Liverpool.
Middlesbrough had a high influx of scousers move to the area around the turn of last century therefore it had an influence on the local accent.
This is just brilliant acting
A black mate of mine got me into red stripe, 6 of them and I’m away. He also introduced to me to Nigerian export Guineas which is Guineas but like 7% and comes in a bottle, that’s serious shit the real deal
Red stripe is nice drink had it watching my mates band haven't had it since but I enjoyed it
Nigeria is one of only 4 countries in the world outside of Ireland where Guinness itself Brews Guinness. The rest are outsourced.
This is brilliant
Denzel reminds me of Socrates (Footballer) In this video.
Brillient!
this is O.G move by Del!!!
A classic bit of conniving, manipulation and wheeler dealing by del :)
Done up like a kipper as they say ha ha lolxxx.........
Mind you I only saw it *AFTER THE FIRE.*
Done...and you will be. Lol
remind me of my time in London in 90s.
This is the 80's
If only all comedies could come close to this.
Best comedy
Del Boy is funny
shame they don't make shows or allow talent like Sullivan now
12 dislikes.they don't know British comedy if it kicked it in ass
Did you hear about that house he did up in where was it Kings Avenue, He made a blinding job of it so i hear "mind you I only saw it after the fire" that with Denzil spraying beer out of his mouth is hilarious!!!! ❤Only Fool's and Horses😂
John Sullivan was from an Irish family so he could get away with the stereotypical Irish jokes
Derry Kelly I didn't know that
It was always the Irish comedians who told Irish jokes like Frank Casrson and Dave Allen. People had the ability to laugh at themselves in those days.
Not only that (assuming thats true) this was long before all the wollys got offended about everything so people could make jokes about country stereotypes
@@modman2724 he is you tit
His dads from Cork and his mums from Kent.
Genius
Del threw the ring pull on the floor.
It's called a Pull Ring you dickhead
You are such an idiot
It's called a pull ring you got the words the wrong way round
Classic :-)
Classic!
It's such a shame about the actress who played Coreen killing herself. RIP
That's right! They've known each other since school so couldn't have been painter and decorator. Denzel would have known
CLASSIC BRITISH COMEDY,
42 carat gold !
Funny
They ain’t got a serving hatch have they
0:38!
Classic show

I miss those old steel can beers they didn't get all crushed up in your hand like modern aluminium can beers do.
You need to realise things these days are actually more durable
Mo Salah was in only fools omg
do you even know who he is you moron
This makes no sense whatsoever
Don’t ruin these old comedies
hehehe if it hadn't been for the description of the clip i wouldn't have seen the punchline
Denzil was probably the only black guy on the BBC in the 80's.
Mickey Pearces mate Jevonn
👍
Denzil
He was great
Patrick "Paul" Barber. He played Horse, in a film, called The Full Monty, about unemployed steel workers, who became male strippers, and it was filmed in Sheffield.
pick the ringpull up del
You dickhead it's called a Pull-ring
It's called a pull ring
No, the actors are not available
None of these BBC Only Fools and Horses clips has Raquel in, and only one of them has Cassandra in.
They need to use ai to enhance this. It would like great.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH
I no the need help and a life
nice bird but mygrate union
Deborah Firby love

Funny
