This is beyond helpful as a DF. We are at a distance and have not met yet in the physical but developed something strong over three years without a commitment , and every weekend I send him a few photos of me getting dressed up to go out with a “have a great weekend babe” message. Sometimes he replies and sometimes not.
I started to intuitively know that I was providing him love and comfort at a distance and enabling his ability to come towards me with more efforts because I was doing it all.
It all stops this weekend. This will be the first weekend and moving forwards he will not get these messages and will need to start to figure out what he truly wants with me after three years of talking and telling each other we love each other.
I am done. Letting him go to do the work to become truly the husband and father he wants to be as he told me so many times he wishes. Thank you for the confirmation that if I stop pursuing him, it’s better for us both. 🙏🏼
