Yea nobody really had cameras worth a fuck and every dude didnt have a go pro like today. We werent even allowed to film missions to be honest. That shit was a nogo.

I think it’s the fact that no matter what, flagging is gonna happen, I’m also sure at times during the video, the rifle was sideways so it looked like he was pointing it at his team. But I can see what your saying
Yeah, he was definitely muzzle sweeping the heck out of everyone the camera was pointed at.
Granted, my team was much smaller by contrast, except when we had ANA guys with us, but we never, EVER swept our team/ANA guys. Maybe with the camera angles, it appears like he was, but I don't know.
@@silentabove119 It could be camera angle but I kind of doubt the angle is that steep, I've never been a soldier but I do fly camera drones so I can kind of speak to it. I think this is a case of the camera accurately portraying the muzzle alignment (within an inch or so accuracy).
@snoweefrost4412 , if that's the case, then shame on that particular person. Don't get me wrong, combat can be difficult, crazy, and any/all kinds of terrible adjectives, but one thing someone should never do is muzzle sweep your teammates!! It's idiotic and inexcusable. Most times, infantry personnel are barely trained to handle the stresses of combat, let alone able to understand what the heck they're doing when confronted with it. Don't get me wrong. They just didn't/don't have the training that I've had. The military has a budget and time frame to work with. The only way to get around that is to be better than the rest and go into an organization within the military that'll train you to a much higher standard.

Was it for the best that we left Afghanistan? Or was it for the worst? I asked my fam this question and they said it was "for the best to leave" and that "America has a history of leaving/abandoning people anyways". My thought is, why leave our people behind? Americans, civilians, and a war torn country, just abandoned. All that hard work, death, and time, waisted away.

The "afghan army" was suppose to "learn how to fight" off the "Taliban" from the last ones to go ,😔 and they ignored the training and let the Taliban take over, or went home changed clothes and presumed business as usual and were Taliban from the beginning.

To shoot proper a Carl-Gustaf and also a Pansarskott AT-4 SHOULD always consists of a shooter and a loader/sec.behind.controller/hit referee. The one that shouts "BACK IS CLEAR" -FIRE !

tons of reasons man, from needing more training to how much you can carry, to the weight of it all, to the fact that you may NEED to go into a building at some point that day. these aren't special forces missions, they are soldiers on patrol most likely.
@@isaac_steinberg I feel that although I carry relatively little 762 ammunition, I can more than double the hit rate, which is better than small-caliber long-range random shooting. . . .
@@thomasliu3299 eh, in certain ways yes, but a lot of an actual firefight is suppression of the enemy position so that other elements can maneuver on the position and destroy it.
This requires a lot of fairly random shooting in the general direction of the enemy which works best when you have more ammo.
