If you disagree with something in the video please explain. By "learn to row" I assume you are suggesting she does not know how to paddle. That would make the multiple world podium finishes as an athlete and as a coach a mystery. But that does not make her infallible so please explain what you think is incorrect.
You should post a video of you paddling. The fact that she has taken silver, and now gold, at the 2010 and 2012 VA'A Outrigger World Champions would lead most of us to think she knows what she is talking about.
hmmmm ... interesting video sequence. Not taking anything away from this lady's efforts and accolades, but we had a guy here back in NZ a number of yrs ago who also won a series of Golds & Open National titles and became a top International Outrigger Paddler - but didn't at all paddle in the orthodox method of the stroke technique shown by Kamini or using the power of rotation & placing the paddle in up to blade depth before initiating the pull. He was all arms! Granted he had big arms at that! My point is - there is no one way of paddling that will help you become a champion. Train and train a lot is key! My other point is: yep, I'm sure her technique works for her in singles, but I would be concerned that by incorporating lunge as well as twist - seemingly this also creates a lot more additional body movement in the canoe. Just saying ;-)
Thanks YOU for this!!!

Personally even if there was no "A" form i think its okay if you engage the abs and use the back

You think? She's a beast and her technique is impeccable
@@Lehmann108 I think so, Years ago I dropped down from an A level team to a B level senior team she was coaching so I could train with her.
@@arcticwanderer2000 smart move!
