Do they really have to say his full name every time they talk about him? There is only one Ingebrigsten in the race. Reminds me of when Juan Pablo Montoya joined NASCAR from Formula racing. Every NASCAR Sunday race the commentators would always say Juan Pablo Montoya any time they talked about him. Only Montoya in the race, but they had to say all three names every time.
I saw Ingebrigsten changed his shoes from the Heat to the Final. Is that something he usually does?
It’s pretty common for elite runners to wear dragonflies, which are the more distance oriented spikes, in the semi finals because they save your legs better. He also used a victory 2 prototype from the looks of it, or victory 1s, which are a much more aggressive spikes and would’ve taken more out of his legs had he worn them.
