Okay so your match theory. Dude I admire you but you can’t light the match inside the tunnel and hold it upwards and expect it to stay alight. Secondly you can’t walk outside light the match and then turn it sideways so it has more burn area. You kinda need to replicate what you did inside on the outside for that to be valid. A flame needs to climb in order to stay alight hence when you did it outside it stayed alight.
Yeah the matches are going to go out as when you light them you speak so it could be your breath. They are getting held up so that there is no wood for it to burn, so it will go out. Just my opinion.

If you hold a match upright, the flame will go out as the flame wants to feed upward. You gotta hold it sideways 😅
