  • How to make a powerful ancient roman catapult model (Onager with spoon) out of mahogany wood #DIY Torsion siege engine
At the end of this video you will see how does a #catapult work (shooting at toy soldiers in a small medieval castle making out of popsicle sticks)
Step by step video tutorial, perfect for school science project
Approximate design taken from the battle scenes of the movie Gladiator with Russell Crow. Some of my subscribers think that it is ASMR video :-)

Why isn't this more popular? This appeals to that Niche crowd on UA-cam that likes the "Satisfactory ASMR" stuff. Honestly waiting for this channel to blow up due to the quality of this video.

ASMR? I didn't even think about it. I made last videos without music, that's better?

@@NumaVIG yes, no music is wonderful. I can add my own music if i want to but bad music spoils a whole video.
Plus, the sound of things happening without a soundtrack is super relaxing =)

If not too much trouble, what were the little hardware pieces use in the torsion ports?

That was a lot of power. So much power that the catapult flew backwards.

I know this is two years old, but I have to ask. For the torsion what material do you use and what do you recommend with minimal material.

There’s a metal loop on the back of the spoon/arm. He sticks a pin in it and the pin is connected to the string and he pulls the string to fire
