Quick question: You said that you can qualify for different courses according to how well you do in your BMC. What if you end up qualifying for, say Medicine when you actually want to study Pharmacy? or something like that.
Also is there an age requirement to write your BMC? I saw somewhere that you have to be 17 or 18. Is that correct? Thank you so much!
Heyy there, as long as you meet the requirements you are spoilt for choice. So if your grades are good enough for Medicine, it just means it can be an available option for you if you’re interested in pursuing it. If Pharmacy is what you want then it means you can go for it. I’m not sure about the age restriction but it should be above 16 as I’ve been in class with 16 year olds going on 17 during BMC

Hie there😃. Thank you for watching. I did take Cell Biology and Genetics finals (I’m assuming you’re first year, 2nd sem).I had some Anatomy parts I wasn’t able to exempt but I understand the system has changed now.Genetics I used the Notes and Past papers and for Cell Bio I used Notes, text book and past papers. But find out the best options from the immediate year above you. Hope this helps, I will definitely go into detail on another video if necessary.

@@shanyceokao6726 Okay got it😃, I exempted Biology and Chemistry and fortunately only had Physics in the final exam for both semesters. I used the seminar material and text book at the time as well as past papers I could find. This was 2016 so I’d recommend once more to get in touch with the people currently ahead of you. Hie there thank you for watching 😃, from what I understand, the entrance exam is for entrance into 1st year General Medicine, depending on your performance either you get in or you’re offered BMC.

Hii, is it possible to transfer to university of Debrecen?, If yes do you know if they accept E as a grade for a course?
Hie there, yes it is possible to transfer to Unideb but only the Uni will determine whether they recognize any previous courses you have taken elsewhere. So you’ll have to email them to find out if they will accept it. Good luck!

As far as I know, you need your high school diploma. This can be from O’level going onwards and whatever equivalent in other curriculums. Passing the entrance exam is your main obstacle.

After BMC do I have to do an entrance exam to enter a university ?
No, you don’t. You can consider the BMC as a foundation course before Med, Dentistry or Pharmacy school.
