Game 6 I saw mate before Ben told them about it and I thought surely if I can see it the Botez sisters will see it. Guess I was wrong, but it's probably because of the pressure of playing against Ben.
When playing far stronger players it's easy to fall into the mindset of only worrying about what they're gonna do, rather than about what you can do.

Ben, you are an excellent trash-talker, but what's so great about the B-Sisters is, even if they don't have a good line in trash-talking (although it must be said, Alexandra can dish it out pretty well - I've heard/seen her on numerous occasions send some zingers), any trash talk that does come their way - pshaw, meh, --water off of a duck's back.

I'm almost convinced that if Ben had taken the knight with the rook while saying "always sac the Exchange" the Botez' would've blundered taking with the rook. After all, when you're attacking, you want to keep the queens on.

Is this a reference to something he said? Cuz trash talking is very common between friends when not in a competitive event like a tournament.
@@ACSMEX Yeah in his old lectures, Ben would often make up a story about his students playing in tournaments. He would say your opponent would play a strong move, then you would start crying, and the arbiter would say "no talking". So it's a joke that Ben allowed so much talking from the Botez sisters and never said no talking. Truth hurts. (Another thing Ben says a lot)
