The nervous system takes form by 4 weeks and the young baby can definitely feel pain by 8 weeks if not earlier. This is just 2 months into the pregnancy. Yet every state allows abortion up to 12 weeks and most states much later. Now liberals are pushing for 3rd trimester abortions, of fully formed living human babies. Yet so many these days don't believe in evil when we are looking right into its face on this issue.

What is the objective/scientific reason for assigning a developmental threshold to a human's value in the first place? If you claim to value a baby, then why do you assign a lesser value to something you know will obtain that same status if simply left alone? Why is it morally acceptable to forcibly deny a human life its natural acquisition of value?
