Hi I’m from Umbria, glad to see you had a good time here! ❤️🇮🇹
Always do! Thanks!
Excellent video. Thinking of visiting Umbria next year. Try Puglia next. I love Italy, so many beautiful places to explore. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Thanks! I highly recommend it. Great area.
Beautiful place! ❤ Thank you for showing it to us. It looks like it may be cooler there in the summer than Rome.
You’re welcome! It definitely is. And less crowded.
When we were in Gubbio for Good Friday one year people kept asking us "how do you know about Gubbio?" 😂
We loved it! And the Good Friday celebrations are really special there.
It’s so great. I was there in the summer and there was hardly anyone there. And it’s so pretty.
It looks like you are traveling. I am a US academic but I live near you in Koukaki. If you are up for it, a glass of wine when you are back would be lovely. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brava grazie mille
Thanks!
Thank you for your video. We are traveling to Umbria this summer & staying in Spello for a week & San Venzano for 2 weeks. Trying to figure how to get from Airport in Rome to Spello, maybe train & rent car in Spello. Our first trip to Italy since 1974!
You’re welcome. I would rent a car in Rome and drive to Spello. But yes, you could take the train to Spello and then rent a car. Check to see that they have a car rental company. I didn’t see one. You might have to go to Spoleto or Assisi for a car rental. Spello is so small. But now one of my favorites.
I would love to rent a place there for a month and just explore. Same with the countryside in France. It’s way more appealing to me than being in the big cities. Maybe next spring I’ll be there😁
That would be awesome! I’m very lucky to have stayed with friends and I rented a car. I highly recommend going. The area is so beautiful.
@@agirlandherpassport I think I’ll start researching. I’m one of those people lol
@@cynthiakritika5047 Nothing wrong with some planning but do let yourself have some freedom while there if you see something you want to stop for.
@@agirlandherpassport I will. I’m not an itinerary type of person per se, but I will research the hell out of my trip beforehand lol.
@@cynthiakritika5047 That's great. Always good to know what your options are! Hope you can go!!
Hello. I'm planning to stay in Umbria region for 4 days. Is that enough or do I need to add more days? I'm also renting a car when I go there. The towns that I'm planning to visit are Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi and Gubio. Is it easy to park on every towns?
It depends on how much time you want to spend in each town but I think you could do one day in each place. The only place I don’t know about is Perugia though. I haven’t been there. Every town usually has public parking so it wasn’t an issue for me. Some of them were free and others you had to pay, however I did not think it was expensive.
🙏
Thanks!
