It's unfortunate that women's rugby don't enjoy as much coverage. World Rugby need to assign more resources to promoting women's rugby so that we can have a robust competitive environment with steady talent supply in a couple of generations
NZ are by far the class team of the tournament and should win it all However my heart is with the Host Team Ireland who have the Biggest Heart of Any Team and Any Nation
Caro Sarda Henriques.de-Granada It is a highlight for many people. Its the first thing most continental Europeans and Asians identify with NZ rugby and often to rugby in general.
Marty Mcfly Whether you play rugby or not is irrelevant. If you cant take this haka seriously then by definition you don't respect it. If you respected it you would understand that its value and nature is the same as that of any other teams respective cultural prematch challenge.
Love to see the Haka and as international rugby continues to grow around the world, neutrals seem to enjoy seeing this piece of pre-match theatre. Don't know why NZ do the Haka? Think a little harder. Tradition, inspiration, sport as spectacle and a chance to poke your tongue.
Codie Moko I don't understand why you do the Haka . It has become a TV expression only in my eyes as significant to the world as Guy Fawkes night or the Boston tea party or any other chest slapping that goes on in the sporting world. NZ strength is the beauty of their rugby and play...well deserved and renowned across the planet. The HAKA is a showpiece in my eyes. The more it is done reduces it's significance. Sorry
cuttygrass I have no understanding of it you're right. I understand that it's a long and established culture certainly but in the age of you tube and instant sports clips 24/7 to see the Haka repeated at every opportunity reduces it's power and turns it into another TV spectacle. It is diminished.

WTF happened today? Canada are a better team than this. Kudos to NZ but this shouldn't have been such a massacre.
Don't put the result in the title!
You're ruining the sense of suspense for those of us that missed the game.

LOL he thinks that playing Rugby somehow validates his opinion of Haka?
Kolby LOL and you think your validated to re start a dead argument
Don't know why NZ do the Haka. It's no longer an institution in the game. Men or women. Not a commentary or a symbol.

spoken like a true dipshit, you clearly have no understanding of NZ and Maori culture..
