I know i'm late, but... I'd like to say, "Away" was the first song I listened from this chennel (at the time it was the first "away" video, without lyrics) and it's easily one of the 3 best. It came at a time I was already satisfied with my life, and happy too (although I still had a conflict that I wrote below), but it's a testament of how much I changed! "Away" represents regret for not helping others, a really deep song, but it represent many other things that teach valuable lessons. Another general message of the song is that you never have to walk away from your problems, face them head on, no matter how hard they are to overcome. See the difficulty and solve it, fight it! The part "I chose the path of least resistance" shows that you always have to follow the harder paths, as they are the only ones that lead to true happiness. Fighting your instincts, sloth is important, and key to being a strong, good and worthy person. But the part that I really had to change in me was the part "never did I contemplate my weaknesses"... this hits HARD in your mind, and it takes some time to learn to do that. It means it's not only important to accept your weaknesses, but to like them, to CONTEMPLATE them! To like your aspects that people think makes you weak, that people don't like! It's such a genius lesson, you must like every part of you, even the ones that society rejects, say everything you want to say, be everything you are with pride, with due moderation, and not what the others would prefer. This part above made me in true peace with myself. Now I realize I don't need to change ANYTHING in me. I want to keep all my weaknesses, I love them and every part of me, because it's just a part of what I am, and I wouldn't change even if I could. Thank you @JP23Lyrics Music so much for making such rich songs! They helped me, and will help change others much more!
