Hey Jose, I'm actually in college. I have people that are very nosy and constantly asking irrelevant questions. I had tried a similar approach to them but ending making things worse. Is there any advice as to how I can Proceed further and any differently?

Yup this true told a friend of mine how much I make needless to say I could see it in his face he didn’t like it. Whenever we had se to chill either we’d take turns paying or split it. We hung out last time looks like he’s trying to get me to pay more, I let it slide this time but that was a one time thing

I agree don’t talk about what you do, show them. I’ve done that I use to talk a lot I could tell some people found me annoying which I didn’t care. Then I started to keep to myself and got myself to work and people treated me different. The only thing is I stuck with the people that liked me either way vs the ones that started to gravitate to the new me. Personally I feel like that shows who they are as a person. The first kind will stick with you more vs the new crowd where they’ll leave when it doesn’t benefit them. This is my opinion and experience it first hand.

I've known not to tell anyone who I like, it's so stupid. The reason why I learned this was because me personally I never had anything happen because of it, but I've seen so many people go behind others back and go tell everyone they know when they promise they won't tell anyone. Reminds me of a quote
"Smart people learn from their mistakes, but wise people learn from the mistakes of other."

Jose, you are a very manipulative man. I say this as a compliment. A compliment coming from the most consciously manipulative being on this plane. I can see your talent, you just need a little more refinement to master the art.
I know the exact goal that is driving your manipulative personality ..... It is a grand goal indeed, a goal which is fuelling you to work with relentless zeal. But you have one glaring weakness that will hold you back from achieving your magnificent obsession ...... Perhaps, you will stumble on this weakness. Perhaps not. Only time will tell ....... What a beautiful life this is.
