    I worry about all the electrical devices in the greenhouse (fans and lights and so on) functioning safely in humidity that high. Is this a ligitimate concern?

    Wonderful! Does your misting and fogging machines run on mains tap water, or do you use rain water?

    I Dub Brad the new "Mr Mister" for the new millenium
    Sung to the tune of "Soul Sister" by Train":
    Hey Orchid Sister
    Watch that Mr Mister and the way he grows,
    With the machines that blow,
    His sick collection ain't fair you know"
    Bad sorry just watching all this mist was inspiring!
    Thanks for all the information, I like learning from all your experiences, a lot of UA-camrs are still in the experimental phase. That's ok but I like learning also!

    Great video! I have a question - do you ever have any issues with mildew, fungus & mealybugs by keeping your greenhouse at a higher humidity point? Or keeping fans running help?

    What brand of hydrofogger and humidist do you recommend? I am a new greenhouse grower. Heating and cooling down Pat but with warmer weather, my humidity is dropping as low as 30%

    Hi Brad, i am going to start building my first greenhouse this spring, can you tell me where you got your hydrofogger? and what band it is. my greenhouse will be 12x12 ft do you think two hydrofoggers would be sufficient? of if the combo like you have of mister and hydrofogger, i will be primarlly growing orchids in southeastern us. thanks.

    Hello Brad are you able to let me know if can you use water directly via mains tap water to fogger or do you need use pure or reverse osmosis water? Love all your vids as I grow mainly orchids with few nepenthes. Best wishes Peter from UK

    Hi Brad thanks for the update on the misting and fogger system - now do you have the fogger on one hydrotherm and the misting system on another or are they hooked all on one ?

    • @BradsGreenhouse
      @BradsGreenhouse  9 років тому

      Tamara Previtali Hi Tamara, they are both plugged into the same one, on at the same time, off at the same time

    • @tamaraprevitali1990
      @tamaraprevitali1990 9 років тому

      One more question for you Brad - so do you still use your short cycle timer that was on the misting system with the hydrotherm,

    • @BradsGreenhouse
      @BradsGreenhouse  9 років тому

      Tamara Previtali I have it but haven't run it since the winter

    • @tamaraprevitali1990
      @tamaraprevitali1990 9 років тому

      Thanks for the help Brad - my misting system and fogger system are too far apart that I won't be able to hook my mister system to it but I do have another hydrotherm so I think I'm going to put my mister on that and see how it goes. Thanks again

    Hey Brad, what kind of timer do you recommend to be able to come on every 10 minuets or so? Right now I use a couple $25 timers coming on at different times, but only once a day for each one.

    • @BradsGreenhouse
      @BradsGreenhouse  9 років тому

      Cathy Eignus look up a "cycle timer" you set how many seconds or minutes on and how many seconds or minutes off. really simple device

    I just had to go to the grocery store to get some stuff and i went and looked at some orchids so I saw one that had finished flowering and asked if because it was no longer flowering if the price could be reduced They reduced it over 55% sadly I was not able to buy the orchid at the time but it was fine because i was just experimenting
