I want to make them more life like, like your babies:) but I don't want to ruin them ya know😕 I do have an old reborn I bought long time ago that is BADLY painted and BADLY rooted. If I do try to paint I would practice on him. Any advice would be great thanks!💕

Mrs. Ladonna, could you show a video on how to change the eyes of an already painted reborn baby? Is it safe to warm a painted baby with a hair dryer, then change the eyes from the front or should I change them from the back? I am a collector and never tried this before. I want to change acrylic eyes to glass eyes. Is this difficult to do?
Should I just try to clean the acrylic eyes in some way that is safe? I prefer glass eyes on my babies, but is there a safe way to clean acrylic eyes if they get cloudy?
Hello. It is not hard to change eyes but takes a few steps. It would be best to remove the head because most eyes are glued in. You will need to cut the zip tie on the neck the remove the head and all stuffing inside to get to the eyes. I would remove them from the back and reinsert them through the back. I have never used a blow dryer but it would probably work to heat the head. The eyes may come out without it being heated.

I never could paint them on So I use the pencils and even then they are still hard to do at times, you do a nice job.

Kayla, if eyebrows aren't similar on boths sides the baby doesn't look right. The more symmetrical the face the more we consider it beautiful.
