What's the economic burden of premature deaths & disabilities due to oral cancers in India

Every year more than 1 lakh new oral cancers in India making it the oral cancer capital of the world. Now researchers from the Tata Memorial Centre have quantified the loss to the economy due to this form of cancer.

Congratulations and thank you Dr Arjun Singh for sharing your findings from the oral cancer study. This is very enlightening and a reminder to everyone to take action. The government needs to invest more in creating awareness especially in the remote areas across all sections of society.

Government is not sincere in implementing Tobacco as govt is dependent on the revenues generated. Very unfortunate state of affairs
