Cody has never looked more like a bigger star. And that is not a shot at AEW, his entrances in AEW made him look legendary. But no wrestling promotion can match WWE level of production let alone wrestlemania production.
I feel like it worked out just perfectly in the end. It just wouldn't be the same if he didn't make a detour with AEW for a few years. All happened for a good reason.
It just works better in WWE. Cody's entrance ascending from the stage with all the pyros made him look pretentious and delusional in AEW that is more focused on the in-ring work, but it was simply perfect for Wrestlemania and made him look like a top guy.

In his own words he’s the “perfect wrestler” hes a blend between incredible indie wrestling and the attitude of sports entertainment. He’s blended those two opposites so seamlessly. To create something magical. Sorry if non of that made sense 😅.

This was awesome. I’ve always been into WWE but recently just casually been starting to get into AEW. I enjoy both. I think it’s always good that people can go work and make money somewhere. I saw the Hardy’s return live and it’s the loudest pop I’ve ever heard. I wasn’t there live for this but it sounds like it beat the Hardy’s. Just a stellar job by WWE making this feel like a huge deal. Hope this can lead to a title run for Cody eventually. It may take some time to get there but I feel like just as Drew did it Cody will get a run. This overall was one of the better Wrestlemanias in a long time.
Often when people upload raw videos like this they'll say "ignore me singing in the background" This dude's singing made the video 10x better. Feels so genuine and authentic
Looking into the entrance a year and a half ago, you can notice that Cody was pretty unaware that the crowd would erupt when he arrived at WrestleMania, you can see in his eyes his surprise at how people treated him like the superstar he is since day one. Now every Cody entrance, even in RAW shows, is a guaranteed big pop and he's the major face of the company, absolutely deserved!
If you've followed cody carefully in AEW, he helped create AEW to "stick it to WWE", where omega/bucks/tony saw AEW as an opportunity to make the wrestling environment fun again for both viewers and competitors. Cody wants to make his father proud, and fulfill the american dream of winning the wwe title. RAW promo was from the heart. Wasn't thrilled he left aew, but you can't hate a guy for wanting to be the best version of himself he can.
