I think BYB lost their access to all of those loaded boxes which was a huge draw to their channels as they pulled some of the biggest cards. Either Fanatics already told them no or their distributor fired the sales guy who was passing them all those cases. Either way there is more money in them scamming people with those overpriced repacks as they have shills buying the good stuff and pass along the bottom end stuff to their customers.

Somebody (probably Leaf's new people) are absolutely DUMPING Joe Montana autographed cards on to the 'bay via what appears to be consignors. Just an incredible amount of random year signed cards that I'd have to estimate, were intended for their Joe Montana 1 auto'd card/box product that they were releasing every few months. If you've ever wanted a Montana autograph for your collection, now might be the time. Hell, nearly all of them are less than he charges to sign at a show, now, too.

For Brady autos in new draft, 9 years later so I feel those will be more desired with a bigger hobby then we had in 2014. Without or with him it would still draw attention as an already great release baseball collectors go for.

Accurate data is the main purpose of the app. If it doesnt have that it is useless. Thats like ebay when you cant buy. Or an Uber when you cant book a ride
Sales data being that inaccurate is a big deal. At the same time SCR does try to hard to be negative, makes me want to take a break from UA-cam

We track 2.5+ million cards and hundreds of millions of transactions which makes it difficult to review every single transaction for accuracy - especially when sellers create inaccurate titles on eBay (often intentionally). Regardless, we will continue to improve our processes and work hard to make our product better. Thanks.
Is the data feeding into the analysis used for the top 5 videos and used for the commentary on YTD changes of the sci indexes vetted and passed through QA? If so maybe that process could be scaled to the entire database. The amount of records ( 2.5+ million ) in your database warrants more investment in data governance, it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to not scale QA to every record.
We conduct manual reviews on many higher end cards, like most of the cards in the SCI 500 index.

tough but doable if SCI wants to play in this area then they need to do a better job period since valuations fluctuate and are volatile right now we have a fuzzy lithograph circa 1870's of what market is instead of a nice color polaroid snapshot which is what SCI with all that PPP and fanatics money can and should be doing @@ryanbauer8317

You kind of got sucked into just bitching about others in the business. Not saying you are as bad but man there is so much good in this HOBBY, and you never cover any of that from what I have seen. The communities on the small end of the HOBBY are fantastic and good people. I say HOBBY because those are the people I like to watch on YT not the investors but rather the collectors, not sure where you fall into these days as you dont seem to talk about the sport/teams you like much.
Then you need to watch more the people you are saying are good are the exact people act has generally said are the true hobbyist and where smart money was going when big money was going other places.

Market movers could just be a glitch or error in the system but the backyard schemes are interesting
while I think you've pointed out an actual flaw with the current state of the market movers app - when I clicked on this video it was seeming like you were implying Geoff/SCI were intentionally using fake prices/comps. I see that your commentary was more nuanced than that, however. Just wanted to share that observation. keep up the coverage dude.
