Stock analysis is more than reading quarterly reports. Learnt this from reading Peter Lynch's book. I believe there are people who do this for a living, and I just delegate the task to these professionals. That's how to stay afloat in the market.

I'm thinking to put some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and i overheard some friends saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. Historically speaking Bitcoin doesn’t do much immediately after the halving - but it does do impressive spikes and tops out around 18 or so months afterwards. No one can time the market, but I'd say it's worth considering entering a position at current prices and if further dips occur, just add to your position. Over the long run, there is a higher probability to the upside than the downside, .It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Loretta Graves Hill, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.

Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. Great thoughts! The year is almost over, and
I'm very glad about the decisions I made so
far, Investing in the market earlier this year
regardless of the market situation saved my
life. I made my first 100k USD with a start of
35k in the last 7 months. now it's nothing
compared to what others make but I'm still
glad my finances improved so much in a bear
market. This comment serves as motivation
for all those who have invested and continue
to invest with so many losses, do not give up,
the right investments will change your life. I
should retire soon as long as things remain
    this good.

How exactly were you able to get that
much and how long did it take you? |
have been doing everything l can to
profit from this bear market, after
watching a lot of trading videos and
reading a lot of strategy and technical
analysis books and still having nothing
to show for it, I am slowly leaning
towards the idea that l'm incredibly
unlucky in trading, plus I should be
retiring in a few years, so any advice
would be good, and yes, I've tried
getting a CFA as well, but it's hard to
find one that really understands the full
gamut of the different sections., I'm
very open-minded and if l can't have it
all then there's no point if you know
      what I mean.

    • @mellowbird
      @mellowbird 19 днів тому

It appears that any questions about crypto have been filtered out, completely. Crypto investing, especially Bitcoin has been a major part of the financial news cycles, yet not even discussed or mentioned at the meeting. It would at least be informative to know if Abel has any interest in crypto. Money, held as cash, loses its value every year, so a strategy for at least preserving the value of Berkshire's enormous cash holdings is necessary. I am disappointed that this question was not addressed.

This is interesting - Warren danced around the Apple question. Basically, what he didnt say was that Apple has maximized their growth potential - they will only grow as the market grows which isnt what has historically happened. Their success is their downfall - when a company has 100% of their market - they can only grow as the population grows - no new customers. Warren will continue to divest Apple over the next several quarters and doesnt want to spook the market with this insight as to put downward pressure on the share price until this happens. They are exposed.

He likes to say one thing but his actions do the opposite. Like, he doesn't mind paying more taxes and making decisions because of taxes is not a good idea. Then proceeds to sell Apple stock before taxes go up or to balance losses from another sale. LOL. Like other experts have said.....Don't listen to what he says. Watch what he actually does.
