It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience

For 30 years, I've managed my portfolio solo, holding 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) that I bought for around $17,000 in the mid-90s. Now, I'm selling some to add new-gen stocks. Considering the current stock market instability, I wonder if investing in gold might be wiser.
How can you talk like this being a follower of Charlie and Buffett. Though you did not manage the funds which were invested for long time in Berkshire but that money still compounded on the principles that Warren and Charlie shared.
The market is not necessarily volatile if you navigate it intelligently. There are plenty of profitable opportunities right now. For inexperienced investors, try keeping onto strong, profitable companies or seeking advice on ETFs and managed funds. I've seen a 418% gain in one year with advice.

You make an excellent case! . I’ll add 1 more point… Seeing my monthly dividend income grow is EXTREMELY motivating to continue investing . that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+

If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. The comment on hedging against future higher capital gain tax rate does not make any sense. If the fundamentals of Apple did not change, he could have bought the Apple shares back with new tax basis while realizing the gains under the current tax rate.
This is interesting - Warren danced around the Apple question. Basically, what he didnt say was that Apple has maximized their growth potential - they will only grow as the market grows which isnt what has historically happened. Their success is their downfall - when a company has 100% of their market - they can only grow as the population grows - no new customers. Warren will continue to divest Apple over the next several quarters and doesnt want to spook the market with this insight as to put downward pressure on the share price until this happens. They are exposed.

I agree, before the pandemic got real serious, I used to handle all my investment and I was pretty good at it, fast forward to post-pandemic and my-portfolio is steady in the red with profit rate down to the lowest, that's when I touched-base with a coach I saw featured on businessweek, who restructured my portfolio and over the last couple months, I've made over $850k from initially $210K
I work with Jennifer Lea Jenson, who is a licensed fiduciary. Just look up the name. All the information you need to work with a letter to set up an appointment is included.
I'm grateful for this advice. Finding your coach wasn't too hard. I researched her well before arranging to speak with her on the phone. Considering her resume, she appears competent.

Just buy Gold and protect your assets, the stock market is a rollercoaster.
After parting ways with mine three decades ago, I'm now realizing the advantages of having one. How can I find a trustworthy advisor without diving into a potential bubble? Any recommendations?
Monica Mary Strigle is a hot topic among finance elites in Lower Manhattan. You can easily find more details with a quick search.
The fin-Market;s have underperformed the U.S. economy as fear of inflation hammers the prices of stock;s and bonds. My portfoliio of $750k is down to $592k any recommendation;s to scale up my return;s during this crash will be highly appreciated.
he market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
Very true , I diversified my $400K portfolio across multiple market with the aid of an investment advisor, I have been able to generate over $900k in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds in few months.
Please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I’m in dire need for one.

Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked up Jenienne, wrote her explaining my financial market goals and scheduled a call
I'm thinking to put some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and i overheard some friends saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
Off course, but Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
Monica Shawn Marti is who I work with. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.

Amazing content! I have been following your videos for sometime now, consistently kicking down Wall Street doors for two years now, I have over $320k in stocks. Currently, my portfolio is down by 15%. Wondering if they're any short term opportunities I can invest in.
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience.
I stopped listening and taking financial advise from these UA-camrs, because at the end of the day, I end up with a bunch of confusing stocks without knowing when to take profit, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
Glad to have stumbled on this comment, Please who is the consultant that assist you and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?

End of an era. I am sad about Charlie but more sad about the fact that Warren is also at the end of his illustrious life too.
You are right. I told my daughter that after WB gone. shareholders might feel like losing the parents and they have to be "on their own". Just sad, but have to face the truth.
At his age this man is still sharp and coherent. What a legend!
knowing when to sell is my challenge currently.
look for good advisor to shape your market view. knowing when to sell so you don't get trapped.
Throughout my involvement in various trading programs over the years, sifting through a wealth of information, I have yet to encounter anything that rivals the clarity, depth, and precision of Jansen costa's insights. It's like uncovering a diamond in a coal mine

May I ask which investments are good? I've been looking at a few different ones but want others' opinions as well.
What I think everyone need is a Financial Adviser, who can help you get in and out of any investment at any time and you'd sure be in Profit.
I've been considering but haven't been proactive. Can you recommend your advisor? Could really use some assistance.>
It alright Angela Lynn Schilling look up on that and thank me latter.!!

Respectful greetings from Medellin, Colombia. This type of conferences bring a lot of useful information that is followed with attention, both by new and experienced investors in our country who believe that the support and encouragement to companies is the best way to move forward. THANK YOU.
You make an excellent case! . I’ll add 1 more point… Seeing my monthly dividend income grow is EXTREMELY motivating to continue investing . Buying growth makes sense intellectually, but during a bear market, watching my growth portfolio shrink…the motivation isn’t as high as it is for dividend investing. A lot of this is psychological!
It's crucial to have a well-thought-out strategy and not make impulsive moves based on short-term market fluctuations. Patience and a long-term perspective are key. You should consider a market expert to guide you.
that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+
How can I reach this adviser of yours? because I'm seeking for a more effective investment approach on my savings

"It all comes down to interest rates. As an investor, all you're doing is putting up a lump-sump payment for a future cash flow."
Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time .
If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. Contacting a consultant may sound simple, but it's how I've managed to stay afloat in the market and increase my portfolio to roughly 60% early this year. It is, in my opinion, the best way to get started in the industry right now.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?

Man Warren Buffett has been such a staple to the investment community and stable voice in common sense pragmatic investing this is the first time I can say his energy is lower than he has ever been but his mind is as sharp as ever.
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated.
During a recession, investors must understand where and how to distribute capital in order to hedge against downturns while being profitable. If you are unable to navigate the market, speak with an expert advisor.
Several individuals minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
i'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisors online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?

It doesn't feel the same this year. Every year, we get Warren and Charlie's funny quirks. Warren this year suddenly seems very old, almost feel like he misses his friend, Charlie.
I'm revisiting "The Intelligent Investor" for a fresh perspective. As the owner of Lopez Plumbing Group in LA, I'm capitalizing on the momentum of ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
I’m ready to dive back into the timeless business teachings of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger .
Fart level analysis 😂

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a colleague
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.

Is there a crypto/NFT portion of the meeting?
It appears that any questions about crypto have been filtered out, completely. Crypto investing, especially Bitcoin has been a major part of the financial news cycles, yet not even discussed or mentioned at the meeting. It would at least be informative to know if Abel has any interest in crypto. Money, held as cash, loses its value every year, so a strategy for at least preserving the value of Berkshire's enormous cash holdings is necessary. I am disappointed that this question was not addressed.
