Hey thanks for all you do. Just wanted to let you know that you can get the hidden perks on Standard difficulty as it's all we've played. But I've unlocked both Thermal Venting and Pain Point Solutions.
Actually got the doc perk on standard an hour ago. I'd assume the others would be able to drop too. Not seen any of the weapons yet personally but others may confirm. Edit: just noticed I have the recon perk and aftershock too.
I am one of them. I did not find those perks on anything above standard. The weps I read in other vids can be found in standard too. The only exclusives might be the golden or acidic wep skins from higher difficulty in hoarde and campaign modes
Look where it got Hicks. A massive shard of glass right through his chest after crash landing on a penal colony world, being chased down by Lance Henriksen's Droid lookalike.
I honestly had no idea about these hidden weapons and perks. It's awesome that you can find this stuff out in the field (although not guaranteed). It gives a little more playability, and then more when you finally do get your hands on a new weapon. I'm really excited about the Sept 8th update. New class, new weapons, new content. I'm really looking forward to it.
The nice thing about Stormsurge is I replace the Fletchette SMG with it on Recon, yeah that gun is nuts but the Stormsurge can equip the reveal scopes, I tend to like them on recon since they get mad cooldowns from killing with them, you basically have Guard Dog and Drones up 24/7
I'm glad that the game got a heavy good start. The community liked the game in general and the game itself is very solid. I'm glad that many are purchasing it so developers get the right note upgrading and updating the game. By far this one of the best experiences on a good Alien game. There's a lot to be done and great ideas for the full package. I'm purchasing this for the PS4. I want this game to prosper with lots of updates and further development. This could be a redeeming beginning for the Alien franchise in the video game industry. There are lots of material that can be further developed like mechs, heavier weapons, refinement of the existing location and inclusion of other expansive levels. I wish that the support for the game continues strong on both sides, the costumers and the developer. If this produces dividends we could end up with a great game or series of games about Aliens. Finally it is happening.
The Heirloom Standoff is a monster if you spec it out for max stumble chance. I've legit stopped several charging Crushers at point blank. I feel like LG is sleeping on this weapon. It's my favorite shotgun in the game.
Oh I definitely think it's good, just not my preferred weapon. I agree with you though, that's why I pointed out the much higher stumble chance that it has.
Gruppa has a bug where if you don't run some kind of fire rate mod it actually shoots considerably slower than what it can. Try swapping the barrel you have on it to the 10 fire rate 10 weakpoint damage and try it out.
Yeah I noticed this myself. Having either the Recoil Booster or Compensator does not increase fire rate as it should. However, having Compact Flash Hider on the muzzle does increase fire rate.
I never knew about these special Intense mission drops - We beat Horde on Intense to Wave 10 and got a decal/weapon skin. Thanks for this. Looks like I'll be playing Intense from now on.
@@LegacyGamingUS Update: officially unlocked all class perks and still only playing at standard. My bud is kinda salty, since he's only unlocked one. lol
For Type 76 Auto-Shotgun, the Gunner has a perk that greatly increase accuracy and another the stability on the first 4 shots burst on automatic weapons. These 2 perks greatly help at reducing the spread on the auto-shotgun.
This game is very fun but could be such a beast if they would fix the ongoing glitches and add more maps, enemies, weapons , and customizations. The graphics are sweet!
just a heads up i got the perks for doc and demolisher on casual difficulty, so they are available there but they do seem much more uncommon the lower difficulty you go, only recently found the channel, enjoying it so far, keep up the good work!
@@LegacyGamingUS Good to hear. I'll have to comb through your other videos and see what you have relating to this. I've loved the Alien franchise my entire life and after the utter disappointment of Colonial Marines I was extremely skeptical about this game. I'm glad they proved me wrong.
I’m just gunna say this now I beat the campaign on Intense as recon playing gruppa as my main rifle slot. With the right attachments and perks it’s not only a laser beam you can get the fire rate so high that’s it’s basically full auto. Pair that with accuracy and stability buffs from recon and the dps you can kick out given it’s weakpoint damage? Broken. I love the fact that no one is talking about this gun because it’s honestly so good.
Thanks lads, you've been one hell of an asset with the videos on this game. Slán. Edit: I found the perks mentioned on standard difficulty playing both solo with the AI and match making. Just to give you a heads up that they do drop on lower difficulties if someone, say on Xbox is having issues with match making (I've seen lots of complaints of this from XBox users. Haven't experienced it myself on PC though), can get a hold of the perks as well.
The funny thing is I actually got rampage and a few of those other perks just playing on standard. So I want to believe that the perks and maybe the guns even are legit just super random to get.
Ammo counters where the user can't see is a hilarious design to me. My bet is the percentage of drop on those guns are much higher on the higher difficulties since some people do find them on standard. I can confirm the burst pistol and SMG can be found on Standard as I have gotten them there.
Just found Neurotoxin Specialist on a "Standard" difficulty run in 1-1 with bots. Just FYI. Maybe it has been changed in an update that it's available on lower difficulties as well.
Loved the video now I have more of a drive to find more weapons, since the update you can find the perks on standard difficulty, at least I found all but gunner so far on standard
Just started the game yesterday. Already have the secret perks for the doc and phalanx. Only played casual so far as I'm still new to the game. Just a heads up.
I know this video has been out for a while but I just played to unlock all of these weapons and notices one isn't located here. So, if anyone that enjoys this game hasn't found it by chance, another weapon to unlock is the M1A2 GL Conversion, basically making the underbarrel GL for the pulse rilfe a stand alone weapon. Got in on intense so i'm sure you can get it the same way you got the rest. If that has already been figured out then this post does not matter.
Yep standard for me too, I have had Thermal Venting from day 1 and I didn't even realise that I got it from a crate I thought it was just a regular rank unlock.
I got red is dead when doing casual for my gunner to get him to lvl 2. so I say it smaller chance at the perks/weapons, but it takes longer while the pro is you can somewhat speed run the missions once you get the box.
The heirloom shotgun can carry 6 or 7 shells if you stack all the CQW ammo capacity core and modifier perks. The perks from gunner, technician and now phalanx class.
Yep, was merely talking about from an attachment perspective. In a lot of classes, those weapon mods aren't as good as buffing a classes abilities. Not all, but most.
I prefer attaching the Ported Compensator and the Casket Magazine along with the Hybrid Sight on the Kramer Assault Rifle. 1.8 seconds reload time by default already feels ok, as feels the overall handling and accuracy of the gun. The 40% increase in fire rate however substantially let this weapon skyrocket in damage dealt.
Not related to the Video at hand, but since I had a hard time finding information on the topic I thought Id drop my share at as many places as possible ... while trying to amass all dropped weapons, attachements and perks I hit a wall, where I was missing two perks (counting the phalanx one) and two attachments (holo sight, polygonal rifling). after the loot came in farily seemless and it felt there was a smart loot system at works, nothing for about 25-30 missions straight (on intense, priorities one through three). running out of ideas, i swithced things up and went into normal missions first, priority one. within the first three runs, I got both the perks I was missing. after that, once again nothing - until I went into priority four, where THE TWO VERY FIRST hidden caches had the two last missing attachements. now, all of this could be anecdotal RNG, and in the case of the perks Im inclined to say so, but in case of the attachments I think certain dropped loot might be restricted to certain priorities. Anyways, nicely done video, have a nice day everyone!
I remember getting aftershock, and had a sneaky suspicion it was somehow tied to the Phalanx class. I didn't even know the new class was just off the horizon. Good to know ^^
2:55 Jeez man look at the overall size of that thing that gun. Must be such a pain for your spine hauling and running around with that thing. 4:53 Literally giving your enemies a lead shower.
Wait so the L59 Minigun is unavailable? It's the gun used by Synth Heavies. I hope that the devs will soon make that gun available for all those who love miniguns!
Correct, the L59 is not in the game yet. That was from a preview build at some point. Likely coming with a future update (I spent like 30 hours trying to find a drop source for it and there just isn't one.)
Great video, kept on topic and kept the conversation moving. I would however offer a counterpoint to your claim that no single weapon is worth $10. Ravenous, Eagle Bearer, and Regulus from Div 2 (and probably others). I think a fair number of people would think $10 for each of those was money well-spent. Whether they actually are is a different matter. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Nice. I think this weapon are for Lv up your rank. And Can you please do video on Shop weapons, perks and others? What weapon is worth to buy and what weapon is only if you dont know what to do with money.
Would be awesome to expand this to into skins, decals and headwear. Also I'm probably opening a can of worms, but this game could borrow some of the Colonial Marines multiplayer cosmetics.
I'm not a fan of how slowly the auto shotgun fires if you attempt one shot at a time (its noticeably slower than the WY semi despite having a higher rate of fire) which makes it less than ideal in situations where you don't need to hold down the trigger. Thanks to this video I know the three guns I am missing, slightly disappointed that the third flechette appears to not be in the game yet.
Exactly the same reason I haven't completely switched out the Type 76 for the Type 21 yet. There's more weapons with the same bug, AM-16 Gruppa for example. There's no built in fake delay on full auto weapons irl just because you press the trigger fast instead of holding it.
@@CareerKnight It is on the Gruppa, depending how fast you click. If you click fast enough the game thinks you are holding the LMB and shoots the same speed as if you where holding LMB. If you press slow enough it shoots at the speed you press. But when you press fast, but not panic fast, like I do when I try to quickly shoot aimed head shots you end up with short artificial delay. Try it out in the hangar.
Yeah that’s the unfortunate nature of the progression within the game. I wish there was a little more structure around it, but I don’t think things are changing anytime soon
Do you get better chances at obtaining these weapons if you play on harder difficulties? I've noticed I've gotten new rewards playing on Intense but other people are reporting getting them on standard
I rly like this game and have all kits maxed but I can NOT get a good grip going for harder difficulties keep getting people in the 100s trying to intense or harder it don't work out
Hey guys I really like your videos some of it was very informative but also I've noticed that you can either get those in cashes on any difficulty which I got video of also some of these hidden perks actually unlock at rank 8 on most loadouts
Just an FYI I received the Doc skill Neurotoxin Expert? (I don't remember the name) and the Tech Pain point out of hidden cashes on back to back runs on Standard. This accord Pre-Sept. 8 patch. Also, I got them both playing Recon.
Yeah we've been able to figure that out since posting the video, it's a MUCH lower chance. The harder the difficulty, the more likely you are to grab some sweet loot.
Interesting, I’ve almost beaten the game again on Intense difficultly and have yet gotten any of these weapons. Only thing I have gotten is the Doc perk.
I'm still deciding whether or not to buy the game. The reviews seem somewhat mixed. Some people compare it to the Division, while others compare it to Outriders. It seems like an " The Avengers" type game set in the "Aliens" universe to me which, at times, feels like a completely different world than the "Alien" world. I don't think that "Aliens" and "Alien" feel like they're part of the same IP at times, even though they are. At the minute, I can't decide what to do for the best. It's a pity that there are no demo's available. That said, what do people expect for £35? Obviously, it's not going to be a AAA game for that price. Some AAA games go for 3 times that price, and they aren't what you would call AAA. Case in point, The Avengers, a steaming POS going for well over £60. Don't assume that I'm calling this game a Steaming POS, because I'm not. I'm just saying that I can't make my mind up over buying it.

I definitely got Doc's Neurotoxin Specialist from a crate on Standard.
I too acquired one of those "hidden perks" on standard difficulty. Perhaps they are awarded when using challenge cards on standard?
THANK YOU!!! Been looking for this info
Do you get better chances at obtaining these weapons if you play on harder difficulties? I've noticed I've gotten new rewards playing on Intense but other people are reporting getting them on standard
I rly like this game and have all kits maxed but I can NOT get a good grip going for harder difficulties keep getting people in the 100s trying to intense or harder it don't work out
I have yet to find players to play intense difficulty..but have found both the technician and Doc advanced perks on standard difficulty.
Hey guys I really like your videos some of it was very informative but also I've noticed that you can either get those in cashes on any difficulty which I got video of also some of these hidden perks actually unlock at rank 8 on most loadouts
Love your guys stuff keep it going
Just an FYI I received the Doc skill Neurotoxin Expert? (I don't remember the name) and the Tech Pain point out of hidden cashes on back to back runs on Standard. This accord Pre-Sept. 8 patch. Also, I got them both playing Recon.
I’ve only played standard missions and I found a perk, so it’s probably just lower chance or certain number of chests opened
Yeah we've been able to figure that out since posting the video, it's a MUCH lower chance. The harder the difficulty, the more likely you are to grab some sweet loot.
I subbed so I can stay up to date with your stats overviews 👌
Keep up the good work
Criminally underrated game
Have you guys thought of redoing the perks break downs with these hidden perks in there?
Can you do a loadout guide for every weapon? It's hard to figure out what weapons need what attachments to be strong.
No it's not. Elementary, my dear. lol
For me I only need 4 weapons. Pulse Rifle, Smart Gun, Heirloom Shotgun and Incinerator to get as close to the film as possible.
I respect a man that respect canon
I very much enjoy the heirloom shotgun, great for crowd control
Interesting, I’ve almost beaten the game again on Intense difficultly and have yet gotten any of these weapons. Only thing I have gotten is the Doc perk.
Use cards, give random addition & always try find hidden cache. Higher rate get those weapons.
Another awesome vid, thanks guys.
Been solo farming on intense all weekend with no luck. Just dumb decals drop
