I am learning so much by watching these videos. I am 60 years old and sustained a back injury by a patient at work as an RN. I want to keep working as long as I can and I fact am earning my BSN so I can have better job prospects for Case Management. I do have an attorney but I live in a very small town and want to be informed. Learning the ins and outs is great and the panelists are all excellent! This is a great service to the public and a good resource for not only myself, but future clients I may work with on similar issues.

Meanwhile, a decade later not only do you sign away your right to sue your employer's client or your employer's client's client, your employer's worker's comp insurance company's third party adjuster will work as hard as they can to pay as little as possible on a worker's injury claim. Whew!

I’ll tell you what . I was hurt on the job at no fault of my own . I was hurt by horse play by management. Now I am in the workers comp system and they the companies insurance is denying all medical treatments and tests . How can one return to work ? And I am not receiving WC benefits at all . Not one payment. State of California is horrible. The laws protect the big companies .

Join the club 🎉 this NO fault system is a joke it's only benefit multi million dollars insurance company and hurt the injury workers. I wanna to file a civil lawsuit against my employer for intentionally putting me in hazardous working conditions causing my cancer but I can't because worker comp but my case is ruined because a negative report from a QME doctor

in wastate claims managers need to be jailed for the collusion with employers as well as the assistant attorney general who is the liason between the employer and workers comp leaving no justice or accountability to any agency. this WILL change.

It is financed by the employer and employee. Washington State is unique in that both pay 50/ 50 for premiums.
