I`ve been traveling and moving a lot lately... and I kept asking myself, where do I actually feel at home? Where is my home ... ?

Hello Julie. This is beautiful. I love all your wonderful video creations. It is good to travel and see other parts of the world and learn about other cultures. I think home for me is England where I was born.
Is home for you in Germany the same place your parents were born?

Its not that easy for me to answer.. in this video you see Croatia (where I spent a lot of time during my childhood) and Germany - both places are home to me. I used to live in South England for a while as well and I loved it, too. In the end, its probably Germany...
@@JulieWie I really loved Germany when I visited as part of a school trip many years ago but I can't remember the name of the place. (Oberamagau ??) Where we stayed was by the river with beautiful red brick buildings decorated with over hanging baskets of gorgeous flowers. I would love to go again if I had the time!

@lexy frey ... ja schon, aber manchmal muss man sich auch ganz profan entscheiden in welcher Stadt, welchem Land man Leben möchte und wenn sich das Herz an mehreren Orten gleichwohl Zuhause fühlt, ist das manchmal schwierig... Liebe Grüße ebenfalls aus Süddeutschland ; )

Julie, what a wonderful video! So well done (with the slow-motion, the double images, the two images/one on top of another; mostly subtle colors, the way you weave it all together: just beautiful. Plus, the lyrics of the song you chose really also reflect the 'story' of their new Free Dance (with music and lyrics by Rachael Yamagata, of a couple separating, going through separation/doubt/anguish, but returning to their 'home', on the ice together, at the end). Beautifully done, thoughtful sentiment (one that I've been thinking about for myself, also, recently); unexpected but perfect ending. I absolutely adore their Free Dance and the 'story-telling' element they've added (actually which they've added to both of their dances: together/love vs. pain/separation but returning to each other. And someone just asked (I think on Instagram) Gabriella whether she and Guillaume were going to continue competing, and she wrote, in the most beautiful, upbeat, and positive way, "Yes! As long as our fans still love what we're doing and we feel we have more to say, we'll definitely keep on skating......" So many ways to think about the theme of 'coming home'/'where does one actually feel at home?'/'where is my home?' (which really hit my heart, since it's something I've been thinking about recently.....plus, it's such a huge 'theme' in both of their dances this season.....Thank you so much for this very beautiful, subtle, and thoughtful video!
