I’ve recently bought the red, black and white ADF 9000 and I think it’s a great helmet at this price point. I came from an Arai Tour X4 which I bought a few years ago which was almost double the price of the Scorpion lid even back then. I changed to the Scorpion because the fit of this lid with the air fit system was better for my head shape and I was looking for a lid with a drop down sun visor. I use the Sena 20S Evo intercom headset which fits perfectly in the cutouts for the speakers with no uncomfortable pressure on my ears. The size I have is an X-Large but because of the 3 shell sizes, it doesn’t compromise on the internal lining or padding. For the money and the fact it has the drop down sun visor, I think it’s an excellent value helmet all round. Great video as usual Chris. Keep them coming.
In the past I've had shoei and arai helmets I'm now on my 7th scorpion helmet of 3 different models and I have to say they have been by far the comfiest and quietest helmets I've owned and a 5 year warranty I can't knock them. 👍👍
I prefer the Adf9000 to my Tour X4. To me it’s overall better built (yes, i know…), more comfortable and silent, and comes with a must have sun visor and a chin curtain. I bought one because my beloved x4 was getting old (and I could never take off the neck roll of the X4 and it’s so dirty that it stink to the point of being impossible to clean it in place - side note: why in H did Arai not came up with a removable neck roll?) and I decided to buy another Scorpion (same color ) to go along with my Exo 930 modular (my scooter helmet that I absolutely recommend ). Best decision ever! In my modest opinion the Adf9000 is the best helmet in my 40years of riding (had Schubert (great) Arai, Shoei, HJC, LS2, Bell etc).
I love the ADF 9k, this is my second Scorpion helmet and, maybe it’s my head shape, but they always tick the boxes completely for me. Lots of bang for your buck with excellent build quality and attention to detail…what’s not to like. Oh and that secondary inner tinted flip visor is a must! 👍
I have a shoei Neotec2 and a scorpion , I like the vision size of the scorpion its feel more open and the pump is great make the helmet fit better work well. The only thing the camera system clog the air intake the way they have made it , but still a great helmet without a camera ... the inside air vent opening is somewhat curb some , but they are a great brand . i have a tendency to use my scorpion around the city for the great vision and the Shoie on longer rides , Alain & Yellow
Hi Chris I’ve got the pearl white one done just under a 1000 miles with it now I find it worth the money has my main to go helmets are the shoei nxr2 and my £650 bmw adventure helmet now for the Scorpio helmet very good fit for me the blow up cheek pads work well and can definitely say it’s a very quite helmet and the sun visor works well with the low sun we’re having at the moment I use the Sena 50R on the bmw helmet and the shoei I use the Cardo pack talk edge latest one also in vested in there second helmet kit which works well I don’t know if you know already that Cardo and sena can work together now has they have done both updates to work both through DCM mesh which is a huge bonus overall I’d give the scorpion9000 air 8 out of 10 for the comfort and ease of use 👍🏍️
Hi, I'm considering Scorpion ADF-9000 air as a summer alternative to my actual Scorpion Exo 1400 carbon, which is fine for me below 25 degC, but too hot over this temperature. How would you evaluate ventilation of your ADF 9000?
The very own Scorpion unit is pretty nice and small, integrating perfectly with their helmets. The microphone being integrated into the speakers. I managed to pair it with a cardo 4. A few hundred meters range.
I’ve aa Scorpion ADX 1 flip front helmet and I have to say it’s pretty impressive. Ok, it’s no Shoei or Arai but for the money it’s a good lid and I do own shoeis and Arais too. Do like the look of this one.
Scorpion is the best for the money. I tried many other Sharp, Shoi GT air 2. This is most comfy one and better field of view, always quality padding and also AirPods Pro 2 fit ok inside (just harder to take helmet off not to drop them). I also have an old EXO 410 from 2014, which still is great and comfy. But 2 downsides on this one though: - visor cannot go all the way one, so you see it in top/open position (not big of a deal, but would be better) - visor bottom end is thick/distorted, so last 10-15mm of the visor you cannot look through, but field of view is good anyhow. (not sure if there are other optional clear visors that solve this?)
Hi moto legends Could you tell me the name of intercom because i didnt really hear it Helmet is very good and i like it alot dont drive much since im new driver
Hey mate, how’s the build quality compared to the Shoei GT Air 3 which is my daily helmet? I mean, this is half the price so is the world really that good? 😅
I have one and I must say it's absolutely amazing for the price.

Thanks for that. It’s the views of people who know Scorpion helmets that will shape our decisions. Thanks. CP.
@@Motolegends picking up a exo520 evo air tomorrow to make it my 4th different model. Lol 🤞🤞

Have the old XD-4 and its possibly time for shopping. Looking at helmets there are so many options.

Thank you for this. The Sena/Cardo thing is a whole different subject, but your confidence in your Scorpion is encouraging. CP

@flippy5118I know mate - I was thinking about the quality of the build
i bought it today✌️
Fit question......Can I assume if I am a MEDIUM Shoei I will be a MEDIUM ADF 9000??? Thank you...😀
I’m medium in my ADF9000 tested some random Shoei and felt it slightly smaller.
