It was nice to see someone acknowledge the actual music and the artist who performed it and give credit where credit is certainly due instead of debating from which movie it was played. Especially on such a beautiful piece of music. I realize soundtracks are important to a film (once they figure out which film it is), but I think in the grand debate, the incredible music gets lost and becomes secondary, which then minimizes the music and the incredible performance this woman has given us. Maybe it's just me, but somehow I thought a music video was about the music and I don't mean to sound sarcastic. In so many cases, it's the music that makes the movie....not the other way around. It's the music that manipulates our reaction to a movie scene at any given time throughout the film and it is considered just as important as the film itself. The composers of the soundtracks are VERY skilled at evoking the appropriate emotions from the audience. That is the purpose of music in film. Of course, this is strictly my humble opinion.

movies like this are pretty action-ish and people overlook them, and yet no director can achieve this kind of action movies, they're over the top, they're over dramatic but they're FUN AS FUCK and everybody will remember them for damn sure. I recommend you The Island, Equilbirium and of course The Rock, Armaggedon, etc...

Other genres of music hold credit for being able to evoke emotion, but for some reason, Hans Zimmer's music always brings out the strongest emotions in me. After listening to many of Hans Zimmer songs. None of his songs are bad at all. They are all perfect! Just like Mozart. Best 21st century composer for sure!
